The contact owns a 2014 GMC Acadia. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V334000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. Getting message on console "Service - Trailer Brake System". This could result in trailer brakes to fail while pulling loads.

2017 GMC TERRAIN- OFallon, IL
While in park and driving, the passenger seat belt locks and will not unlock. You must unfasten belt and refasten it. It does this multiple times during a trip. This has occurred since 2020.

2016 GMC SIERRA 1500- District Heights, MD
The contact owns a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, a loud noise was present coming from the engine compartment. The contact stated that the check engine warning light remained illuminated, and the vehicle would not properly accelerate. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the engine camshaft and lifters had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 96,500.

2013 GMC TERRAIN- Buford, GA
The contact owns a 2013 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that the engine was making an abnormal knocking sound. While driving, at various speeds, the vehicle was jerking. The lights were dim. The contact had to add additional oil every 7 days. There were no warning lights illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. 2015 GMC CANYON- Johns Island, SC
I was driving my truck when, LOSS OF POWER STEERING ASSIST AND MY DASHBOARD DISPLAYED WARNINGS. I was able to slow and pull off to the side and stop safely. I turned the car off and back on it cleared for a short time within that week it happened 3 other times. Years 2014-2015 have had several recalls for the steering. My truck was not on the recall but having the same issues.

2019 GMC TERRAIN- Richlands, NC
Brakes got hard all of a sudden locked up, almost hit another car, front collision warning keeps going off and automatically hitting brakes with no one in front of me. I’ve read it could vacuum brake pump failure. Please recall this as many people have kids and could hurt them.

2018 GMC SIERRA 1500- Athens , AL
Have experience increased brake pedal effort, hard brake pedal, and/or potentially increased. stopping distance. The condition is more prevalent at low speed when softly applying the brakes. The Driver’s Information Center, (DIC) “Service brake assist” alert will activate. Extreme safety risk to myself and my children. Bulletin N182202780 & NT192268490 needs to be tied to this specific VIN Number as well.
