2016 GMC TERRAIN- Hendersonville, TN
The OBD airbag deployment sensor is displayed. The GM dealership service center advised the airbag may not deploy in the event of an accident. The service center advised that we would need to pay for the airbag and sensor to be replaced / repaired regardless of the ACRO agreement to replace and repair airbags. This is unacceptable and a danger to all drivers or passengers of the vehicle. It appears several other complaints have been filed where drivers or passengers were injured due to this issue.

2016 GMC CANYON- Puyallup, WA
We have lost power steering several times. We did take it to our local GMC Dealer and they supposedly fixed the problem by re-programming the Steering Sensor. We have since had several unexpected failures that put us in dangerous situations and have been very lucky in not had collisions or off-road accidents We sought answers and looked to the internet In researching this problem. We could occasionally get steering back after parking, shutting off engine, then restarting it. We now only drive the truck very little knowing we could have a steering failure anytime. This is not a sustainable or reasonable situation. We have found that the NHTSA issued a recall for replacement of the Steering Sensor Cover in 2015 , but did not for 2016 and beyond model years for the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. We implore the NHTSA to recall all of the aforementioned vehicles that experienced this failure. Please help us by defraying the cost of replacement and programming and hold GM to repair our unit, and all of the others needing repair. This expense ethically and morally should be borne by GM. A response is expected and appreciated.Thank You.

The contact owns a 2015 GMC Acadia. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V334000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

2014 GMC TERRAIN- Elkton, MD
I have a 2014 GMC Terrain with less than 70k miles on the vehicle. I took the truck to the mechanic and was advised the power belts were no good. Why is this? The truck has no mileage on it basically for a 2014, I have a 2011 Chevy with more miles than this truck and its power belts are fine. The Mechanic also advised me within the last 3 years, his shop in Cecil County MD has changed over 125 Power Belts on the 2014 GMC Terrain AWD (V6), same vehicle that I have.

2019 GMC ACADIA- Anderson, SC
I owned a 2019 GMC Acadia Denali with surround vision system (rear camera). In December 2023, my rear camera went out and almost caused me to hit someone while backing up. I don't totally depend on the rear camera when backing, but this time when I turned around to look if anything was behind me I didn't see no one. I took my vehicle to the dealer to get it checked out and to repair it. They found that the vision process module was bad. The technician found that the vpm had internal malfunction and corrosion due to water intrusion damaging vpm completely. found code B101D for internal failure and not responding to any programming or commands. Replaced vision processing module at a cost of $1348.90. I wrote to GM explaining the problem and request reimbursement. As of today, no response from GM. 2014 GMC ACADIA- Monroe, MI
There has been a recall on my vehicle for 9 months and there is still not a resolution from GM. I have called every dealer near me to try and have this recall fixed as it is a major safety hazard. I could be seriously injured or killed if this is not fixed. GM says that do not yet have a resolution and this isn’t okay!

2018 GMC ACADIA- Brookfield, CT
The shift to park displays and will not allow the vehicle to shut off. This is the second time this has happened in this vehicle. I have 63822 miles and repaired this same issue about 20000 miles ago. Looked into it and it appeared to be a common issue in this year and model. Looking for some insight on what if anything can b me done.thank you
