2018 GMC YUKON XL- Katy, TX
The air-conditioning (A/C) unit in my 2018 GMC Yukon XL (my vehicle) is not blowing as cold as usual. The dealership (Westpoint GMC) where I purchased my vehicle says their A/C department is backed-up and that I would need to leave my vehicle with them for 2 to 3 days to run diagnostics. I took my vehicle to another General Motors dealership instead, Westside Chevy, and their A/C department or technicians state that my vehicle has a leak in the rear evaporator coil after running their leak detection tests. I purchased my vehicle new on May 4, 2018, and have not any mechanical issues nor heating, ventilating, air-conditioning (HVAC) issues since ownership. This mechanical flaw / malfunction / disruption in the cooling comfort of my vehicle during this extremely hot weather puts the life of other drivers and myself at risk of injury or fatality due to discomfort and inconvenience while driving. There are no alerts or alarms associated with the failure of this mechanical component within the HVAC of my vehicle. This condition first appeared on September 30, 2023. I understand that a possibly similar or related investigation in other GM vehicles took effect in February 2016 under Technical Bulletin 16-NA-046. Is it probable that there is a design flaw within the 2017-2019 GMC Yukon, Yukon XL and other similar builds HVAC?

2021 GMC YUKON- Allendale, SC
I was driving about 40 mph on a rural road when my vehicle stalled. I thought I was out of gas but I wasn’t. I tried to turn it around but I had no power. I pressed the gas but it would not do anything . It would not crank back up. I called my husband and he came and put gas in it and it still wouldn’t work. I was left stranded in the middle of the road on a curve. No warning lamps were on that I could recall. I’m having it towed to the dealer today. There are 39K miles on the car.

2018 GMC SIERRA 1500- Maxwell, NM
In May 2022, I purchased four Cooper Discoverer A/T All-Season 117T 275/55/R20 tires from Walmart.com for my 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. In May 2023 my vehicle developed a vibration when driving at certain speeds, so I took it to a GMC dealer for a tire rotation and balance. The mechanic discovered that one of the tires had a large bubble on the inner sidewall. He considered it such a safety risk that he insisted on removing the tire and replacing it with the spare before he would let me drive home. The tire was replaced with another of the same kind and tread depth. Yesterday (September 28 2023) I felt that my truck was wandering and swaying. I made an appointment for it to be inspected on Monday, and planned not to drive it until then. Today I observed that the rear passenger tire appeared low. I was shocked to find a split in the inner sidewall approximately one third of the circumference of the tire. I also found a large bubble on the inner sidewall of the driver's side front tire. I am shaken that I could have had three different tires blow out potentially killing myself and other motorists. I will be retaining the tires for inspection, and photographs have been taken. The manufacturer has been contacted. It seems that other model tires have been recalled by Cooper for the same issue, but I have not found a recall for this specific tire.
