There was no crash, but it is the second time within a month the vehicle stalls on the highway. The engine keeps running gives a loud banging sound. Also, the hybrid batteries are drained quickly to 0. The first-time the car started work again as normal after 1/2-1 hour standing on the side of the highway. The second time we turned the vehicle off/on, and it started to work again. In both cases the 'check engine' light came on. Twice the dealer ship inspected the car but could find anything wrong with it. We know there is a recall on the model and year, for a full pump issue (which I think is the issue here), but not for the VIN of this vehicle. The symptoms of the recall are identical to our experience. We are afraid to drive this car again. It is scary as the car stalls, power steering stops working, so does the power breaks and the car becomes uncontrollable. Luckly in both cases we were on a straight on the highway, but what would happen if we were in a turn on a winding road? Thanks.

All of the warning lights appeared on the dash. Car runs fine and does not impact driving. Battery has been tested and it's in working condition. Now the problem has gone away but this seems like an issue that should be addressed with Honda, at no charge. I looked the problem up online and multiple inquiries from customers. Do the right thing Honda. Treat this has a recall and take care of your loyal customers.

My Honda CR-V Hybrid would stop working on the highway at high speeds. Sporadically, I would be driving at speeds from 55-75mph and the accelerator pedal would stop working and my car would start slowing to a halt. I would have to pull over to the side of the highway quickly, turn the car off, and then restart it. It usually would work but occasionally the car would stop a mile or two down the road and I would have to restart it again. This occurred six times between 11/24 and 1/25. In all cases, the car would still have electrical power but the accelerator would simply stop responding. This led to several dangerous situations where I needed to maneuver around trailer trucks while rapidly slowing. In all cases, there was no warning lights or messages. I had two different mechanics, including the dealership where I bought the car, look at it and neither could find a source of the problem. This problem as occurred to other owners of Honda CR-V's if you search for this problem on Reddit and other forums. I ended up selling the car back to the dealership at a loss and buying a different used car.

My car's estimated fuel remaining changed from 1/4 tank to dangerously low within a few minutes. It seemed to work ok after I filled it, but my car failed to run when the car insisted that about a quarter tank of fuel was present when I was driving on a highway after dark - I managed to get safely over to the edge before it stopped moving. The repair shop I towed it to checked and found that the fuel pump and attached sensor had failed, in a car that had only 42,961 miles. I would also add that the Honda dealer in Tulsa refused to give me and my husband any kind of estimate over the phone, saying only that the we had to bring the car there for them to inspect, and they were not permitted to give repair estimates over the phone.

I have contacted a local Honda dealer every few months since 03/30/2024 and have been told they still don't have the parts for the recall.

While driving down the freeway at around 60 mph, I sharply accelerated to negotiate traffic and my vehicle lost power and the check engine light was flashing. I was able to roll to an exit ramp where i could barely get up a slight incline. I was able to get out of traffic but at speed of less than 5 mph. It sounded like the vehicle was running on two cylinders. I pulled over and turned the car off. I was able to re-start the car after which it ran normally. I went directly to the dealership where they were unable to reproduce or diagnose the issue.

There is an unrepaired recall and for some reason until now the dealership can’t get the parts they supposedly need to get it fixed.

NHTSA Recall Number -24V-064 - In the event of an accident front passenger frontal and knee airbags deployment. Safety Risk. I contacted Honda to resolve this issue yet I am unable to do so I was informed that to date no replacements parts are available to resolve this safety issue. They were unable to to provide a date for delivery of the replacement parts. I am following the safety precautions as I do not want an injury to occur in my vehicle. Is there a timeframe for the Honda to resolve this safety issue?

Brakes failed due to a known issue with the Brake Simulator. The same vehicle has been recalled in Japan for this reason. Brakes became completely non-responsive while driving. Again, this is a known issue. The brakes simply due not work and in Japan they have identified a manufacturing process defect. [XXX] Vehicle was inspected by Team Honda in Baton Rouge. Many lights on the dash are warning that there is a defect. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
