I was the first and only car waiting at a stop light, when the light turned green I began to accelerate and as I aproached the crosswalk line the car auto-braked hard. There were no other cars near by, nor pedestrians anywhere. The auto-braking only lasted a second, did not quite come to a full stop and has not repeated. If there had been a car behind me, I could have easily been rear ended. I notified the service department at the dealership and told them of the NHTSA investigation, he said this was the first he has heard of the problem and if it happens again to document it and bring it in for inspection. I will do so. There were no warning lamps or messages before or after the incident.

On July 25, 2024, at approximately 2:30 pm I was driving on NM 528 on my way to the airport. I was driving at about 50 miles per hour when I suddenly heard an explosion as if a window had shattered. I looked all around my vehicle to see if a window was broken but I did not see anything. I continued driving and, as I entered I-25 going south, I heard another explosion, again as if a window had shattered. There were no other vehicles near me on either occasion. I continued driving to the airport, picked up my wife, and on the way home I happened to open the inside cover to the sunroof. I saw the sunroof was shattered but there were no shards of glass inside the car. The explosions seem to have thrown the glass shards outside the vehicle. See my photos. I believe my safety was put in jeopardy since I could have lost control of my vehicle upon hearing the explosions. Also, when returning home, my wife and I could have been injured from falling shards of glass when I opened the cover to the sunroof. I reported this incident to my local Honda dealer and I received an appointment date of August 13, 2024 for possible servicing. The service advisor told me that a manager would make a determination at the time of service as to what Honda will do to remedy my problem. No one at the Honda dealer inspected the damage, nor have the police nor insurance representatives done so. There were no warning alerts from the vehicle itself prior to the incident. You may inspect my vehicle, just let me know prior to August 13.

I was driving on the freeway [XXX] my car speed was slowing down even as I had the gas pedal pressed to the floor. I was heading off the freeway when the speed picked up and car was working again. On a separate incident March 2024 my daughter borrowed my car and she described the same issue and again. The car would not speed up despite her pressing the gas pedal. Most recent [XXX]. Put car in reverse and step on gas and zero movement. Put it back in park and back in reverse and car once again worked as normal. No check engine lights so I was told no diagnostics could be performed. I see all the recalls for these problems but my vin number is not included. I’m worried all the time I drive my disabled son around his service dog and my young grandchildren ages [XXX] ,and [XXX] . Please see if you can help me get my car fixed. My son gets SSI and I can’t afford a costly repair. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Driver's seat belt frequently fails to solidly latch and may come unbuckled after the driver believes its positively engaged. Honda dealer has inspected it and claims they cannot replicate it. This is similar to the open campaign on this model, but this particular car is not covered by the range in the recall.

Several vehicles of the same year, make, and model were recalled for the fuel injectors but mine was not included. My car would not accelerate and became unsafe as I would try to move from stop lights, etc. I took my car into a repair shop and was told it was the fuel injectors. I would like to have my vehicle covered under this same recall as it is a hazard and I do not feel I should have to replace these on a newer car, especially when it is a known issue.

I am filing a complaint against Honda regarding the infotainment system in my Honda CR-V. When I connect an Android device, the system crashes consistently. Despite informing Honda of this issue, their response has been dismissive. They stated, “We tested it with an iPhone and found no problems,” completely disregarding the issue with Android devices. Safety Concern: The infotainment system freezing when an Android device is connected poses a significant safety issue. Functional infotainment is crucial for navigation, hands-free communication, and other essential functions while driving. Frequent crashes disrupt these functionalities, potentially leading to distracted driving and increased risk of accidents. Honda’s failure to address this problem compromises driver and passenger safety. Misleading Advertising: Honda advertises that their infotainment system works with Android devices, which is not my experience. This misleading advertising is deceptive and unfair to consumers. Warranty Information: My vehicle is under a certified warranty, yet Honda has failed to provide the necessary support and repairs to resolve the issue. Desired Resolution: I seek a thorough investigation by the FTC into Honda’s misleading advertising and failure to address legitimate safety concerns with their infotainment system. I also request that Honda be required to fix my vehicle so that the infotainment system works reliably with Android devices. Additionally, Honda should formally acknowledge the problem and improve their customer support and product testing procedures.

I was pulling into a parking space and to stop but suddenly the vehicle just accelerated forward jumped the curve, straight through some bushes and crashed into a tree. The airbag deployed caused injuries to my right arm, head, chest contusion. Mostly passenger side front and front damages on the vehicle. Police, ambulance, and firefighter came to investigate and to help with my injuries.

While driving my crv about 40 miles away from home, an all wheel drive system error alert came on the dash. The car seemed to slow as I was driving. I pulled over and parked turned the car off and re started it and it was ok. The error came back on and did not go off and this time the car did not feel safe to drive while accelerating to 20 mph there seemed to be a delay and feeling of wobbling. Had my car stopped at any point on the road this could have caused a major accident. It also felt unsafe
