The contact owns a 2018 Jayco Towable Trailer. The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V425000 (Equipment) however, the dealer informed the contact that the parts for the recall repair were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. After a trip from Dallas to Los Angeles, I noticed inside tire wear on the rear tires. After close inspection, found both leaf spring support brackets had separated from the frame and rear axle was ~3" shifted to the left. If we had started to make the trip back home, the axles could've come off the trailer resulting in a terrible accident. Pictures were taken and sent to Good Sam for extended warranty and Jayco was supposed to have been informed to OK the repairs. Not sure if this was done.

Received a recall letter for my travel trailer in August 2021 which states: Two-stage propane regulators on recreational vehicles may supply elevated, intermittent or low propane pressure to the appliances due to a second stage valve seat that can fail to regulate propane flow and pressure. An increase in propane pressure could cause the flame of the appliance to become larger, and under certain rare circumstances, may ignite adjacent materials resulting in a fire. Also, an increase in propane pressure would also cause the regulator to vent propane continuously thought he pressure relief valve. In an enclosed area or under certain conditions, the vented propane could accumulate at the front of the recreational vehicle and if ignited could result in a fire or explosion. Called the dealer to have the recall taken care of and was placed on a waiting list. Over 3 months have already passed and they have not reached out to me on this matter. I called today 12/1/21 to follow up and was told they've ordered 319 kits to have the recalls repaired but they've only received 12 kits so far. Dealer has not offered to have my trailer inspected. I am afraid this will never be taken care of and I might not be able to use my trailer until the issue is fixed. Please help me!

The contact stated that while driving at 60 MPH, a fellow motorist had alerted her and her husband that one of the driver-side wheels on the trailer had begun to smoke(color unknown). The contact's husband pulled over and discovered damage to the wheel well. The contact's son was called to the scene and a temporary repair was performed which allowed for the trailer to be driven home. The dealer was notified and informed her that there were no recalls on the trailer. The manufacturer was also notified and a case was filed. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

Parts distribution disconnect. Consumer stated after leaking gas recalls were completed consumer almost had an accident with Truck and RV while pulling the RV. Sway bar was purchased to help stabilize the RV but broke on the way home.
