there are 3 lights that keep jumping on P! ENGINE LIGHT CAR WITH SQUILLEY lines behind it have took it jeep for diagnostic cleared all codes drove fine for 2 weekswas told it has something to do with transmission took to 2 different transmission shops not the transmission now it has started cutting off as im driving the ELECTRICAL THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING LIGHT will come on and it will cut off in traffic I looked online the same problems im having was on the recall list but not my vin.how is that i called earlier and talked to rep.she said my vin.was not up there dont understand how not when its doing everything thats on the list.i was told at first it was my wheel speed sensor replaced all 4 then spark plugs and wiresthen one day while i was driving there was a popping noise took to mech. thought wheel speed sensor broke or came off took off tire nothing was wrong couldnt find a problem under vehicle

Our dealership, Billion Motors ran diagnostics after I indicated that my service 4WD light had been on, and found out that I needed a new transfer case. Jeeps from 2017 to 2019 have a known transfer case issue and my Jeep is a 2019 and unfortunately the serial number is not listed in the recall. This is a huge security risk as I'm afraid that my vehicle will slip out of gear and heading into winter my AWD is not working due to this part failure. (I live in the midwest where we receive a lot of snow!) I'm concerned that this part has been on order since June of this year and it's now the end of November and hasn't been received it. This is a huge security risk going into the winter plus anytime I park. My vehicle only has 67,000 miles on it.

My Jeep will accelerate forward when breaking, stall at a red light and roll back, massive humming and grinding on the peddle, start/stop failure and failure to start. I've been able to avoid two crashes so far and used my own scanner to detect the problem. Nothing comes up. I bought this shady vehicle oct/3/25. dates of incidents include oct 3rd- November 10th.

Was on the highway going 65mph and transfer case exploded. No warning of anyway wrong. Vehicle locked up.Could spun out but was able to get to shoulder of the road.

The contact stated that the vehicle was vibrating while driving at undisclosed speeds. The contact also stated that the vehicle had shifted out of park unintendedly. There were no warning lights illuminated. The local dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the PTU was not functioning properly. The vehicle was not repaired due to the parts being on back order. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 26,000.

I am writing to report a safety concern regarding my 2019 Jeep Cherokee. I recently learned that a specific part on the 2018 Jeep Cherokee was recalled due to a known defect (Oil Pump Recall (Recall T65 / NHTSA 17V-670). My 2019 Cherokee is now experiencing the exact same issue that was identified in the recall for the previous model year. Because the problem appears to be identical to the 2018 recall condition, I believe this may indicate a continuing safety defect affecting additional model years that were not included in the original recall campaign. I am requesting: 1.A formal review and investigation into whether the recalled part on the 2018 model also affects the 2019 Cherokee. 2.A FULL refund to what I paid to have this repaired. And yes a receipt can be provided. 3.Written confirmation of the steps you will take to address this matter. This issue is a safety concern, and I want to ensure it is properly documented and investigated. Please advise on how this can be resolved. Lurching when stopping and service 4 wheel drive notification came on. Took to Jeep for diagnostics. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the 4WD warning light illuminated. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was diagnosed. The contact was informed that the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) had failed. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000

PTU UNIT IS LEAKING AND THERE IS METAL IN THE OIL. CONFIRMED BY MECHANIC AND DRIVE TRAIN WARRANTY REPRESENTATIVE. CONFIRMED PART NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. CAUSING VIBRATION WHILE DRIVING. IT HAS NOT CAUSED A SAFETY ISSUE BUT COULD IN THE FUTURE. IS NOT A VIN IN A RECALL, BUT I BELIEVE IT SHOULD BE.

Tuesday 11/11 my 2019 Jeep Cherokee was involved in an accident due to the PTU not working properly. In PA we had very poor road conditions due to snow throughout the night into the morning. When making a turn my car slid and hit a curb damaging the front right side of my vehicle. I do believe the safety of myself and others had been put at risk. while no one else was involved in the accident just me it could have been worse if it weren’t so early in the morning and little traffic on the roads. I had my vehicle in the Scranton Dodge and Jeep dealership about a month prior to inspect the issue and they were unable to fix it due to the part being on back order and my cars VIN not being specified on the recall for this issue. I was also told that my vehicle was safe to continue driving in the meantime which is not the case. I have had the vehicle inspected by a dealership and my insurance company was involved for the damages produced by the accident. The warning message has been on but no one has the part to do anything about it and like previously stated was told the vehicle was fine to drive. I had this issue inspected in the beginning of october. I have also contacted Jeep and they told me there is nothing they can do for me since my VIN is not specified. I bought this car to get safely to and from places during the winter months in PA and that clearly is not the case now. It is very frustrating being a full time student and paying on a car that does not do the job that it’s supposed to do when I bought it and now I am thousands into a vehicle for parts that is more than the actual value of the car itself.
