On any drives at freeway miles that last for longer then about 45 minutes the vehicle sends a false service transmission light which puts the card in limp mode forcing the driver to come to a stop on the freeway. Within the first week of me buying the car, I was traveling cross country from CA to FL. I discovered in CA within an hour of the start of the trip this because the vehicle forced me to stop in the middle of the desert because of this I was forced to sit in the desert for 30 minutes waiting on a tow truck. When I turned the car back on the check engine light was on but the car was out of limp mode so I drove it to CarMax in Vegas (after having to do this three more times and stopping to get food to let the car rest. Vegas told me the car was 100% fine and called the dodge close to them who said it's just a "dummy light" and to just pull over and it'll be okay and I wouldn't be causing any damage to the transmission or engine. After traveling all the way across the country over 7 days in all climates the vehicle continued to do this at night in cool temperatures, with no total drives longer then 2-4 hours. Once we arrived in Tampa FL it seemed to go away and is fine in city driving however I was out ubering one night in the city at night and it popped up as well forcing me to stop in the middle of the road. It did this on a recent trip to Jacksonville as well from Tampa which forced us to pull over four times on a 70 degree day. I have beent told by Jeep if I want it reprogrammed I must pay as well as that now that the codes are off I will have to drive it until those sensors come back on. The issue is they turn off after the car has sat.

OME Oil Filter Housing is made of plastic and it cracked, causing the Jeep to leak oil. This is a common issue with the 3.2L and 3.6L jeep motors. So common that the original part has been discontinued and replaced with one made of metal. That fact that Jeep has discontinued the original part and replaced it with a better one should be grounds for a recall and be covered my Jeep. Instead I have to pay $200 for the part and because of the labor required to replace the part, my total bill is almost $1000.

Engine stalls without warning. One occurrence stalled while in reverse, steering wheel jerked 3 times. After every stall has had the warning "Four wheel drive temporarily unavailable". Also had one that flashed "ECU Off" this has occurred mostly at low speeds. Happened twice today making it the sixth and seventh occasion.

As I pulled up to a stop light the transmission light blinked and the car started to stall. Sputtered for a second then went away. About 3 min after as I was pulling in front of vehicles when I turned the car stalled and died in traffic. Car wouldn’t restart for almost 30 sec but in traffics felt like a lifetime. Finally started and was able to pull off road but as I sat there car just would seem like the transmission was catching and stall out.

Oil filter housing is leaking oil onto the engine and dripping on the ground leaving puddles. This is a problem with the 3.2 engine and the 3.6 engine. There are thousands of these engines on the road doing the same thing . Oil Filter Housing Defective.

Service four-wheel drive engine light came on took it to the shop and they said had a bad PTU I saw where there was a recall on certain 2014 thru 2017 dealer told me that mine was not eligible for recall because it was manufactured one month before recall vehicles started this seems to be a bunch bs they should replace the bad parts on all 2014 -2017 units not just pick and chose who's to replace after recall
