ABS light/Traction light comes on when I break or reverse. When I start up the car it is never on. The car jerks as it shifts to 2wd and I am informed that park sensor is off as well.

The UConnect screen is delaminating which is causing the touchscreen to malfunction. This is causing the navigation system, radio, seating controls, and climate control to be inoperable for spans of time. I have already had several occasions where this has caused unsafe driving conditions.

On 11/24/22 my touch screen began to show a box that blocked the entire screen asking if I wanted to adjust my clock. I tapped "no" and it would not clear. I tapped the "X" in the corner and it would not clear. So I tapped yes and it took me to another screen to sync with GPS etc. Then it would disappear. It kept repeating this and then would flash and beep. Then disappear and reappear the entire trip. I then noticed that there was a discoloration or delamination at the top of the screen so I "googled" this issue and apparently the 2018 Jeep vehicles have an issue with this where the radio/ navigation / screen system / bluetooth/ Apple Car Play will act on it's own - shut down, change stations, etc. It is still ongoing so I took it to my dealer and they confirmed the delamination issue and have ordered a new radio system. This is a safety concern and I was unable to see the navigation or use the touch screen to control the heating system or anything else controlled by the touch screen, not to mention a distraction while driving.

UNKNOWN: My Uconnect 4C NAV with 8.4 Inch Display Screen started delaminating approximately 4 months ago. The top 1/3 of the screen is delaminated causing the system to randomly change radio stations, change the radio between AM, FM, and Sirius Satellite radio, also keeps beeping with each change and not allowing me to use my navigation system. Also, I keep getting messages repeatedly telling me to reset my clock. This delamination is affecting my Travel Link and also my settings as the screen is jumping all over the place switching randomly to anything it wants to without any input from me. In my opinion this is a very serious safety hazard and could pose a risk for serious injury. Also, my phone was calling wrong numbers at random because the whole system is interconnected with each other. I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is a 25th Anniversary edition and I plan on keeping it forever. I wanted to reach out to you first before I go to the dealer. I presently just turned over 49,000 miles and I realize my 3-year warranty is up but my 5 -year and my travel link won't be up until March of 2023. Thank You very much. I would appreciate any help you could give me to help me resolve this very annoying issue.

While car is driving, the infotainment system which controls heating/air conditioning, NAV, radio, etc. will start to flash, make noises on its own, play the radio and the stations switch on their own. It is extremely dangerous and distracting while trying to drive the car. The only way to stop is to turn it off but then you have no access to a navigation system which presents its own dangers. Without proper heating in the winter months or cooling in the summer months, the car can be dangerously cold or dangerously heated, especially dangerous when driving around young children or my elderly parents. When I contacted the dealer about it, they reported they have heard of this happening, that there is no recall despite the inherent dangers and that it would cost over one thousand to repair. It has not been inspected by any manufacturer, police, insurance rep or others as it has only been occuring for a couple months and I was hoping if I reset the system, it would stop. There have been no warning signals that this is occuring. When I decided to do an internet search, I found that thousands of 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokees are having this issue, that it's been widely reported to NHTSA and that Jeep has not issued a recall, despite the dangerous driving of a vehicle such as this.

The screen on my 2018 jeep grand Cherokee has started delamination at the top. This causes constant blinking on the screen saying to adjust my clock. It is very distracting and it beeps with every flash. I’ve been told the entire screen and radio have to be replaced which will cost over $800. I have 66k miles on my jeep. I’ve seen this has been an issue for many 2018 jeep owners. I have an appointment on November 30th at angola Chrysler jeep in Angola indiana to have this replaced.

there's is a problem with the Touch Screen where a message keeps popping up and after a period of time this causes the Touch Screen to be unusable (can't use Navigation, Radio, Hands Free Calling etc.). after doing research online it appears this is a known problem and is the result of a flaw in the Manufacturer's (LG) process (delamination of adhesive between Screen and Digitial Touch Component). As a side note, I mentioned this when I brought my Jeep into the Dealership for service and they confirmed they were aware of it (their solution is to charge me $2,145 to replace the Radio...the Radio isn't the problem, it's the Touch Screen that has the issue).
