2020 JEEP WRANGLER Complaints

The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while her son was driving approximately 55-65 MPH, the instrument panel and the turn signal lights became inoperable. The driver pulled over to the side of the road. The driver was able to drive to the residence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the dealer determined that the instrument panel needed to be replaced; however, the part was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 105,000. The VIN was not available.

The dashboard in the affected vehicles may suddenly go blank, leaving the driver without vital information, such as speed and turn signals’ status. The driver will not be able to get the cluster working after failure. There is a recall on this (and my Jeep model and year is within the criteria but my Jeep is not in the recall. The instrument cluster has went completely out. There is a currently open recall for 2018 - 2024 Jeep Wranglers (Recall #24V-652), but my VIN is not included. According to FMVSS No. 571.101 (Controls and Displays), you are required to remedy this situation as it is now a safety and hazard for the driver.

There was a crack, and subsequent leak, in the fuel line to the engine. My safety, and my passengers safety was absolutely put at risk as that could have ignited a fire at any moment. I took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the problem. No warning lamps appeared, however, the smell of gas was very strong in and near the vehicle.

The instrument cluster went out on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler. There is a recall (NHTSA#24V-652) for this issue, however my VIN # is not included in the recall. This is a critical safety issue because the speedometer and warning lights to not work.

UNKNOWN The display panel on the instrument cluster has went out. There was an open recall for newer models (2022-2024), but my vehicle's year (2020) was not included. After going through multiple forums, and speaking with many dealerships, this has been an on-going issue with multiple Jeep owners.

I see that there are recalls for the center cluster on the dash for jeeps like mine from 2018 through 2022 or 2024 but mine has is not included in that recall however mine is now out According to our mechanic I have a black screen cannot see if I have gas or if my vehicle is overheating, cannot see any of the warning signals. Please advise why my jeep is not included in that recall. Mine is a 2020 jeep wrangler unlimited

The steering is very loose in this model, ive read that its caused by an aluminum steering gear and replacements are steel, this is a huge safety concern and a hefty repair a vehicle that had less than 40k miles

Instrument cluster failed. Jeep required me to send them the entire cluster (Vehicle Dash) in order for us to order new part. Submitting the cluster means I do not have access to the manual gages (speed, warning lights, and fuel gage). You also cannot hear your blinker signal or know if your high beams are on or off. You do not know how much gas in your tank and can run out at any given point (I have pictures of police helping as this happen to me; it is dangerous). There is an open file i have with jeep. They are aware of the issue. I told the dealership in Sept of 2024 it was flickering and they said it wasn't doing it when they had it serviced so there was nothing they could do. I took it in to another mechanic in May of 2025 once it was failed completely. Jeep informed my mechanic in May the part would be in. Then they emailed me (once i filed a compliant with their customer service )the part would be in by End of Aug. Now they are saying the End of September (subject to change). I requested a loaner vehicle in order to keep my family safe and they denied my request. The car was bought brand new and cannot be inspected until the dash is replaced. Jeep has old dash and has not provided me with the replacement part (I already paid for). It is dangerous. The reason we are told the part is not available is because many 2020 jeeps are having same issue.
