Hooked camper up to our tow vehicle. Went inside to prepare to leave our storage. Husband turned the propane on and I pressed Further start button on the refrigerator once the pilot light ignited. After less than one minute an error message began beeping on the digital LCD pad to alert that there was a disconnect from the power source being used. Five seconds later it stopped, and the LCD went blank. I shouted to my husband to check the propane because the refrigerator had stopped and he confirmed that it was still running. I hit the start button again several times and nothing occurred. As I turned to go out the door I noticed a faint, small plume of smoke. My husband rushed in and did confirm a slight ozone smell before turning back outside to note smoke from the top vent where the refrigerator lies. He immediately shut the propane off and returned to remove the upper vent while I grabbed the fire extinguisher. As I returned, I immediately noticed flames and smoke from the lower vent. My husband quickly removed that vent cover and extinguish the fire with the extinguisher. Once out, he returned inside to turn off the circuit breakers, followed by unplugging the refrigerator cord from the wall, which is accessible through the lower vent. We thoroughly inspected the entire slide to be assured the fire was completely extinguished. I made a claim to Progressive the next day. We arranged to have a progressive inspector look at the camper at our local RV service center Harler Auto and Glen’s RV service in Romeo Michigan. The assigned inspector, Andy M made his assessment on Friday, XXX and called us the same afternoon to inform us that based on his inspection, it was determined that the damages were due to and confined to a mechanical/electrical failure, and not the result of a sudden, direct, and accidental loss. He was confident that this was due to a manufacturing defect and informed me that there were multiple known recalls on this particular product.

We experienced three consecutive tire blowouts on our 2021 Keystone Hideout 198RB. All blowouts were on the same side (passenger side). Since we purchased the trailer new we noticed unusual tire wear patterns on the passenger side resulting in a cone like wear. The outside of the tire wears faster than the other. We reported this to the dealer and the axle was replaced. However, despite the replacement, the problem continued. The first blowout occurred in 2024, driving on [XXX] heading west towards Barstow. The blowout endangered us as well as others on the road with tire debris flying into traffic. With the blowout there was little time to get to a safe location. We were left on the side of [XXX] and needed California Highway patrol to help us get to safety off the freeway. The second blowout occurred on [XXX], a two lane highway with a speed limit of 55 mph. The blowout here not only launched debris into the air endangering vehicles behind us but also vehicles traveling the opposite direction as vehicles behind us swerved to avoid the tire debris. Following the second blowout, I contacted the dealer again concerned about the repeated blowouts on the same side with the unusual wear pattern. They took measurements and informed me everything is within normal limits. Less than four months later, I had another blowout on a brand new tire on the same side. Even brand new tires are not able to withstand the structural defect causing the unusual wear on the tire. We have had no blowouts on the drive side of the vehicle. We frequently monitor our tire pressure to keep it at the 75 PSI as directed, before traveling on each trip. We always travel light and each time of the blow out, our travel trailer was lightly packed not even carrying any liquids in our holding tanks. The blowouts occurred at speeds between 50 and 60 mph. Despite efforts to correct this saftey issue with the dealer, I'm worried this could cause an accident if not corrected. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FO

Camping world Hamburg delivered to me fifth wheel they Ammit they did not have inspected causing Catastrophic structural frame failure and pin-box cross-member buckling (Frame Flex) engineered within the upper deck chassis frame. This structural failure has caused widespread, secondary body panel collapse, including deep spiderweb fractures tearing through the upper fiberglass radius wall paneling, vertical trim moldings violently warping and splitting open, and the upper passenger-side roof cap seam ripping completely open. The failed components have been placed under an immediate "no-tow" safety mandate to preserve evidence and are fully available for a driveway physical evaluation or engineering laser-scan upon request at my residence.

On XXX between 11 am to 2pm, I was driving [XXX] to [XXX], via [XXX], and at rest area [XXX], I stopped for fueling truck and getting something to eat with family. After stopping at the parking site for trailer, I noticed that the RV box on the front above the gooseneck, was touching the top of my truck trunk. I use a fifth wheel gooseneck and tow from the center of my truck/trunk bed, and we usually have about 2 inch gap between rv and truck, but at this time there was no gap, the weight of RV was on top the truck back side panels. The Lippert frame welds were broken. I have to call a 50 ton truck crane to tow RV to closest Camping World dealer at Fort Pierce. I was lucky that my 12,000 lb RV trailer did not disconnected, I could have killed my family in a hard brake, or someone in the highway if the trailer gets disconnected (the safety chains nor the emergency brake would have stop it to fall and rollover). My family (wife and kids) are psychologically affected and will not ride a truck towing and RV again, and I will not do either. I opened a claim with insurance Progressive (Claim#XXX), but they have denied any coverage saying manufacturer's defect are not covered by any policy. However they have failed to provide written report demonstrating it is defect. I opened Work Order #XXX, with the reseller, Camping World, but they have not being helpful, I left the RV at their parking lot and visit them in person to open my request for inspection and coverage, they refused to accept the RV inside their workshop, they told me I have to repair the weld first before they accept the unit. I opened claim with Lippert (trailer manufacturer), Case #XXX, they came back saying unit is not dafe to drive, and it is not a defect. On XXX called Keystone at [XXX], opened a complaint but did not get any case number, send pictures to [XXX], and they told me they are responsible. The drive to lower the spare tire is on driver side of the 5th wheel camper. If you have a flat and pull off the road you will be lowering the tire on the same side of oncoming traffic. GOOD CHANCE OF GETTING HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC.

this is about a recreational vehicle safety recall 24V-234 safety advisory 24-452 Suburban stove LED backlight printed circuit boards that were defective and should have been fixed or replaced under warranty. What good is a warranty if they just want to cut and terminate the circuit? Would it be ok to cut and terminate wires to a defective air bag in a vehicle? I would like to know why. We bought this product and they don't want to correct the problem, they just want to cut the wire and delete the function. I don't think this is right. Thank you for your time.
