Battery was DEAD after being parked for one week. Car was in residential garage (outdoor temp about 10 degrees. garage temp measured 46 degrees. Please Note: The SAME problem happened to my 2025 plug in RX and 2025 plug in NX. I doubt this is a coincidence and there are plenty of websites that indicate a significant problem.

Battery on car under 6 months old and fewer than 3,000 miles was DEAD after not being used for one week. Weather was not an issue, as car was parked INSIDE of residential garage.

I am reporting a recurring front bumper cracking and separation issue on my Lexus IS 500. A crack developed at the front bumper seam directly adjacent to the passenger-side headlight assembly. The crack originates at the bumper mounting/retention area near the headlamp and appears to be stress-related rather than impact-related. There is a known Lexus Technical Service Bulletin addressing front bumper sag and improper retention on this model. Multiple other Lexus IS 500 owners have reported similar cracking and separation in the exact same location, including vehicles that have not been modified or involved in collisions. My concern is that: The crack appears at a structural mounting point of the bumper. Continued stress or separation may compromise bumper retention. Progressive separation could create risk of partial bumper detachment at highway speeds. The issue occurs adjacent to the headlight assembly, raising potential concern for lighting alignment or mounting stability if the condition worsens. This does not appear to be isolated cosmetic damage but rather a recurring stress point at the bumper mounting seam. If the bumper retention system is insufficient or prone to stress cracking, this could pose a potential roadway hazard if separation increases while driving. Given that Lexus has issued a Technical Service Bulletin regarding bumper sag/retention on this model, I am requesting that NHTSA review whether the front bumper attachment design presents a broader safety concern.

On Feb. 10th 2026 I was driving north I405 (Los Angeles). The car suddenly applied emergency breaks in the middle of the freeway, while there was no car in front of me, at least for 100m. I was lucky that the car behind me didn't hit me. It could be a serious multi-car collision.

Description of Incident: This is a recurring safety defect that has occurred multiple times from August 2023 to February 2026. The following description refers to the most severe incidents: 1. NATURE OF DEFECT: The vehicle experienced a sudden "Limp Mode" event where all dashboard warning lights illuminated simultaneously, followed by an immediate loss of propulsion while in motion. Subsequently, the vehicle suffered from a dangerous 3-second acceleration lag/delay. This 2023 Lexus LX 600 creates a life-threatening risk on public highways, as the driver cannot reliably control the vehicle's speed or power to avoid collisions. 2. MANUFACTURER’S ADMISSION: The vehicle has been presented to authorized Lexus dealerships. While the dealership could not provide a permanent fix, the manufacturer’s own internal tracking system now explicitly confirms: "REMEDY: NOT AVAILABLE." This is a formal admission by Lexus/Toyota that the vehicle has a catastrophic system failure with no known fix. 3. REQUESTED ACTION: Lexus/Toyota has refused to repurchase the vehicle, forcing me to drive a dangerous asset they admit they cannot repair. I request that NHTSA immediately initiate a safety investigation into this loss of propulsion and acceleration lag issue for the 2023 Lexus LX 600, especially given the "No Remedy" status. A mandatory recall is warranted.

Lexus TX hood flutters at highway speeds, Dealers acknowledging the issue and confirming no repairs available. Created a case with Lexus corperate office, so far no resolution after submitting vehicle report from dealer visits. This issue is similar to GX hood issue, but Lexus is not looking into this and acting like we are not aware of this and no one informed.

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2006 Lexus IS 250. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private seller. At the time of purchase, the odometer mileage was 119,000. The contact purchased a Carfax Report, which indicated that the odometer mileage was reported in September 2022 at 144,556, and the vehicle failed inspection. In addition, in October 2018, the odometer was reported at 155,811.

Paring brake has been bucking backwards and forward for most of 2026 and finally it failed facing downhill on Feb 4, 2026 and rolled downhill until it stopped after hitting a sign.

Car was running normally and going at 50mph then all of a sudden car abruptly lost power and went to 10mph and dashboard lit up. Very scary as we also had our kids in the car--I can only imagine how dangerous this would have been if we had been on the highway going 70mph. Dealer diagnosed with low pressure fuel pump being bad. Lexus paid for the repair due to some lawsuit settlement but these cars should be recalled due to sudden loss in power!!
