2023 LEXUS RX- Lynnfield, MA
Hi. I noticed my vehicle was randomly making a clunking noise in the rear end. Also, on the highway, it would drift and was difficult to steer. I took it to dealership to be examined because it was still under warranty. They showed me that the driver's side rear trailing arm was disconnected. The bolt was not even there. They stated that it was caused by outside influence, possibly from hitting something. But I did not hit anything. The only sign of damage was where the loose trailing arm rubbed against the steering knuckle. They also told me it was too dangerous to drive off the lot. Because they claimed outside influence, they did not cover it under warranty. I took it to my mechanic. He believed the bolt had come loose on its own. He thought this because the trailing arm bolt on the passenger side was very loose and about to fall out. The mechanic replaced the missing bolt and tightened the loose bolt. I would like to document that this happened and see if any other people had reported this problem. Lexus denied that there was an issue.

2023 LEXUS RX- Gaithersburg, MD
If we don't drive the car for 4 or 5 days, especially in cold weather, the car will sometimes not start due to a drained 12V battery. We've spoken to Lexus of Rockville, MD and Lexus roadside assistance, who are aware of the issue but say the 12V battery is "healthy." Online research shows this is a widespread known issue with Lexus RX350h and RX500h vehicles from 2023 onward: [XXX] [XXX] . A simple software update to ensure that the high-voltage hybrid battery charges the 12V battery to a greater extent when the vehicle is parked should solve the problem, but Lexus has so far not addressed this problem. The driver and front passenger side window glass in my 2025 Lexus RC 350 F Sport exhibits a severe optical distortion that impairs visibility. The glass has a persistent fog or haze appearance and a grid-like dot pattern visible in daylight. At night, the defect causes significant glare, halos, and visual distortion from headlights and streetlights, making safe driving difficult The defect was present on the original factory-installed glass when the vehicle was new. At a Lexus dealership, aftermarket window tint was removed to rule out tint-related causes. The defect remained present. The dealership then replaced the affected windows with brand-new OEM Lexus glass. The defect reappeared was also present in the replacement glass with identical characteristics. Independent glass professionals advised that the issue appears consistent with a manufacturing or lamination defect internal to the glass itself. The presence of the same defect on both the original factory glass and the OEM replacement suggests a possible supplier or batch-related manufacturing defect that may affect other vehicles of the same make and model. I reached out to Lexus on September 23,2025 about the issue and as of today January 10, 2025 the issue has not been resolved. I almost hit a mother and her child in my fitness center parking lot because the street lights shining into the drivers window had almost zero visibility. Luckily, she saw me and got out of the way because I did not see her until she screamed. This condition materially impairs driver visibility and presents a safety risk, particularly during nighttime driving and even worse when raining. The manufacturer has not yet provided a resolution. I am including images, but I also have a video that is much better to see how extensive the issue is.

While driving, which occurred 20 minutes after i started the car, the driver’s door gets unlocked automatically and i started hearing car warning with ?? appearing on my dashboard. I also heard wind noise from the highway. With the electric, i could not simply open and close the door while driving, but had to pull the door with my left hand for the next 40 minutes while driving until i hit destination. When i pulled door towards close position, wind noise and warning sound went away, but comes back as soon as i release the door. Happened numerous times during summer, spring and winter.

2025 LEXUS TX- Burlington, WI
We leased the Lexus at the end of May 2025. My husband I drove the car. It was nice. My husband and I are in our early [XXX] . Meaning we are very capable of driving. We both ride motorcycles, snowmobiles, dirt bikes,4 wheeling and we also own 1957 truck, 2024 corvette, and we even both drove our own corvettes at the spring mountain in Nevada. That being said this car is a nightmare. I don’t need a car to take over my driving, braking, and anything else. Whether it’s driving 75-80mph and you are on a major interstate and it decides that the sweeping curve is dangerous while I’m passing a semi or a string of cars! I don’t need it to slow down because it thinks too fast of a curve?!?!?. I took it to Brookfield Lexus for over a week I spoke with service told them what I dislike about the car. The one service tech said,”. You are not the only one that dislikes all of the safety features”! I asked him can you remove all of the safety features, “ he said not sure but we will do what we can”! When I picked up my car on Dec 20,2025 they showed me that only a couple of safety features can be shut off. The other ones have to be shut off manually everytime you start the car!!!!! I should not have to go into the computer and manually shut other features off because it’s back to flashing, beeping, and any other annoying features to put me in danger because it’s telling me you are going to have an accident!!!! It’s a distraction that is a problem. My daughter drove it home with our small trailer in a snowstorm last Sunday . My daughter was changing lanes and when she did your auto braking took control and she almost went in the ditch. With the trailer on the back it started to slide because it was overcompensating which put my daughter, the car, my trailer, and anyone else near her in danger. I spoke with Lexus Corporate and filed a complaint. They said there was nothing wrong with the car. There is a major problem with that car. 2024 LEXUS RX- Santa Ana, CA
I went to reverse the car. Suddenly, the car's automatic emergency breaking system engaged. This occurred on 2 separate occasions. The first time, was in a parking lot during a sunny day. There was definitely nothing behind me, not even a person, but the camera saw a leaf or something small, and engaged the automatic emergency brake. The second time, it was raining in the evening, the sky was dark. I went to reverse (to complete a u-turn in an empty lot). Suddenly the automatic emergency braking engaged. In both instances, if I was reversing (as part of a u-turn on a busy street, this would have been very dangerous. Please investigate this. It was very scary.
