2025 LEXUS NX- Mount Juliet, TN
The car 2025 Lexus NX350) hydroplanes on wet roads at normal highway speeds. Last week, my wife hydroplaned into an adjacent lane on I40 in Nashville and could have been injured or worse. The tires that were delivered on the car (Bridgestone Alenza) make it unsafe to drive in wet weather. The issue was reported to the local Lexus dealership and then elevated to Lexus corporate (case 250910001090) but was not satisfactorily resolved.

The driver side mirror shakes around 45 to 50 miles an hour plus. The passenger side mirror at the same speeds stays true and does not vibrate. While I am driving mostly on the highway the driver side mirror shakes or bounces up and down which distorts the images behind me. It is a safety concern where I am getting dizzy while driving. I brought the car back to the dealership Lexus of Pembroke Pines, and they replaced the entire mirror assembly, but it is having the same problem again. The car is not even two weeks old. The constant vibration is a legitimate safety concern and prevents me from safely operating this vehicle.

Door handle failure. Well known issue. Internal door actuator commonly fails, causing you to be unable to open the door whether you are inside or outside the vehicle. Repair is also rather expensive.

The contact owns a 2013 Lexus CT 200H. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed with the cruise control activated, the brake pedal was depressed and the ABS, traction control, and master warning lights illuminated. The message "Check ABS System" was displayed. The cruise control feature then became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who retrieved DTC: C1391, indicating an abnormal leak in the brake actuator accumulator; however, the contact was unaware of which parts needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the transmission later failed to shift into drive(D) or reverse(R). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.

2024 LEXUS TX- Eureka, MO
Driving on the highway, heard a very loud pop, followed by a crackling noise above us. Investigated and found the sunroof had spontaneously shattered. On the drive home, the sunroof glass collapsed into the car. The initial incident was very disruptive, and we were lucky that the sun shade was closed, which blocked glass fragments from falling on us. There are no signs of impact from any objects or rocks. There were no cars driving in front of us, and we did not drive beneath an overpass. There were no dents on the car. Photos of the glass after shattering but before collapse dont show a clear sign of an impact point. My best guess is a manufacturing flaw exacerbated by temperature changes. It was a very sunny day, and we had the shade open with cold AC blowing for 30+ minutes. The sun became a distraction, so we closed the shade. I think the heat then built up quickly between the shade and the glass, and caused the glass to shatter.

2022 LEXUS NX- Cartersville, GA
The transmission (Torque Converter) is shuddering at a certain RPM range when it is in 3rd gear (in between 1000-2000 RPM) in my case. (Roughly 15-25 mph) This could lead to an uneven acceleration and cause an accident. Especially in a bad traction situation ex)snow, rain, uneven surface and etc. Also, it could cause and accident due to unable to accelerate in time. The vehicle was inspected and dealership were saying it was the tire and balancing issue, but not fixed. There is no warning light associated with.

2025 LEXUS LS- Pasadena, CA
My 2025 Lexus LS500, with only 500 miles, has two serious defects in the front passenger seat, creating a safety hazard. The massage function is non-functional, grayed out in the infotainment system, and the seat belt fails to tighten or retract, leaving significant slack when buckled. Issues appeared during normal city driving (dry conditions, <10 mph, no accidents or modifications). The seat belt, when pulled and buckled, remains loose with several inches of slack, failing to secure an occupant. This was tested 5+ times, stationary and moving. The massage feature (part of the 28-way adjustable seat package) is grayed out, indicating a system fault, likely in the seat’s control module or air bladders. No warning lights (e.g., SRS) are on, and no diagnostic codes are retrieved yet. The loose belt poses a severe risk in a collision, as it cannot restrain the occupant, increasing chances of ejection or injury (e.g., head/neck trauma). A dealer visit is planned under warranty, but this manufacturing defect in a new vehicle is alarming. Vehicle was bought new from Lexus of Glendale, Glendale, CA. Photos of the grayed-out controls and slack belt are available. This may affect other 2025 LS500s and warrants investigation to prevent injuries or fatalities.

2025 LEXUS GX- Douglasville, GA
My GX550 is vibrating at all speeds. I took my GX550 in for service on [XXX] at Butler Lexus in Union City, GA, because of the vibration in my GX. They did a wheel alignment and a force road wheel balancing but this did not solve the problem. On September 3, 2025 I took my GX550 to Discount Tires in Douglasville, GA, where they took off all the old weight including the new ones that were added by Butler Lexus. I found no improvement as I drove home. I took my GX550 back to Discount Tires, I asked them to check the tires and wheels. I was informed by one of the tech at Discount Tires that the my wheels are marginally out of round and I should let Lexus know to check the suspension. I was told by Butler Lexus service department that Discount Tires was grasping at straws. I spoke with Lexus Corporate September 19, 2025, they informed me that Butler Lexus Service department informed me that my vehicle is suppose to operate with vibrations, that could felt in the steering wheel and seats. I asked for someone from Lexus to come out and inspect the vehicle. At first I was told that Lexus doesn’t do that. Then I was told she would check into it. Also Lexus never addressed the the transmission hard shifts that I reported. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Brakes making honking sound when applied even when stopped. My brake actuator is failing and has been confirmed by the LEXUS Dealership. Noise and stiff breaks has been going on for a while. There is no recall, but Lexus put out LSB to dealerships May 15, 2023 and revisions earlier. This information should be provided to owners IMMEDIATELY, if the actuator fails, this is a safety issue.
