Two year old 22500 miles. Driving down the highway doing around 75 and my sunroof blew up. Just exploded. Nothing hit it, temperature was around 70 degrees. Was about 10 miles into my morning commute. Nothing could have caused this. No impacts, no odd temperature fluctuations. Just a glass failure.

The brake booster assembly has developed a leak in the pressure accumulator resulting in constant actuation to keep the pressure sufficient. Complete failure is impending with a C1391 code and loss of power brakes. Toyota has offered a CSP to address this issue but only for a very limited time and at the time of creation of said TSP only covered model years up to 10 years old. 2011-2013 CT200h models are not covered by this CSP. Furthermore due to the limited time period in which the CSP was active, many cars were not covered due to not developing fault codes at that time. Part prices alone to resolve this issue from the dealership are above $2000.

I have reached out to my dealer over the past 5 yrs and Corporate as well about the recall on my 2020 Lexus RX 350. I have since paid the car off and feel the remedy has fell on death ears. The last two services I inquired about a fix, Sterling McCall lexus in Clear Lake texas never responded back to me. I need some kind of resolution to this recall. Vehicle has 31K miles on it and the only place I can trade it in is Lexas.

there was a safety recall issued for this model for this year for this car. I took the car to someone and they told me there was a recall for this issue so I should take to the dealer. I took to the dealer in Chandler, they told me there was no open recalls. I called the Lexus customer service line, they told me to take the car to the place where they had originally done the recall work, at Bell Lexus. Even though they know this was from a recall they will not perform the work even though this is a known issue and safety recall on this car. this is the same combination as the recall and they will not even consider fixing it. At ~101,000 miles, my 2012 Lexus CT200h triggered error code C1307, indicating a failure of the brake pressure accumulator / brake booster system. Prior warnings appeared via dashboard alerts. This caused reduced braking performance, creating a serious safety risk. The issue was confirmed by a Lexus dealer and independently by a certified mechanic, who repaired it. I contacted Lexus Customer Support for coverage under CSP 21LE01, but they denied it due to the 10-year time limit, even though my vehicle was within the 150,000-mile limit. Dealer estimated ~$4,600; I had it repaired independently for $2,000, sourcing parts online at ~50% of dealer pricing. This is a safety-critical defect acknowledged by Lexus under CSP 21LE01. I respectfully request that NHTSA review this defect to ensure Lexus extends proper coverage and prevents future safety risks for other owners.

The front control arms, their bushings and ball joints are failing. My car only has 125k miles on it, but it drifts and bounces around as if there is no struts at all. It is very scary to drive, it feels like something terrible is about to happen like a wheel snapping off and causing accident. I took it to several mechanics. They say it will cost $1,700k to replace ONE control arm! $3,400k for both. The rubber bushings are completely deteriorated due to the rubber being bad. (My dashboard is also melting, and the rubber weather stripping on all of the doors/windows)

I was driving my 2011 Lexus CT 200h and while driving my vehicle abruptly came to a stop in the middle of the road posing a safety risk to me and my passengers without warning. Up until this time, I had not received any "Check Engine" lights or any indication of failing units. At the time my car suddenly stopped, my gauge read 1/4 tank full. I was forced to call for roadside assistance and had to wait hours for a tow truck. Once transported for repair, the technician claimed it was a failed fuel tank sending unit that caused my car to stalled suddenly in the street. However, after researching other similar issues/instances I believe the sudden engine stall on a Lexus hybrid is almost certainly caused by an issue with the fuel pump or another critical fuel system component, not the sending unit resulting in this severe safety concern.

I have a panoramic sunroof and the sunshade retracts when the switch is pressed but the shade bunches up and stops before fully retracting. It appears from online searches that it’s a well known problem with Lexus and can result in a very costly repair that’s caused in no part by the owners of the vehicles. A recall of this manufacturing defect needs to be issued.
