Recall on my vehicle has been out for 1.5 years. Dealer states no parts yet & that I should be fine. But I don’t feel safe if my passenger air bag won’t deploy in any emergency.

2022 LEXUS ES- Charlestown, RI
All 4 tires showed the belts/cords in several places. Tire size: 235/45R18 . We took our car to our Lexus dealer for the 30,000 mile inspection and service. This car had the original manufacturer installed tires, with the tread wear showed that all 4 tires had more mileage remaining. The Lexus mechanic took photos of all is work, which included photos of the belts/cords actually visible in multiple spots on all 4 tires. We took one of these tires to show the Firestone dealer, but could not take all four. The Lexus dealer said it was not safe to drive this car on I95 at high speeds because a blow-out was quite possible, and our lives (and possible others)were in danger. So we bought and had installed four new tires in order to drive about 40 miles to our home. There were no warning messages about this (or any) problem. This problem can be confirmed by our dealer, Lexus of Warwick, Rhode Island. We called Bridgestone when we got safely home and were told that we had to drive the car to show the tire problem to a Firestone Service Center, but this was impossible since driving the car with unsafe tires was not reasonable. We have one bad tire we can show anyone, and the Lexus Service people can confirm that the same visible belt issue was bad on all four tires.

2025 LEXUS TX- ST JOHNS, FL
Vehicle Information Make: Lexus Model: TX350 Luxury Year: 2025 Mileage: 580 miles VIN: [XXX] Summary of Complaint At just 580 miles, my brand-new Lexus TX350 Luxury's AC failed on first use. I heard hissing and saw oil residue under the hood. The Clearwater, FL dealership diagnosed it as a punctured AC condenser due to “road debris” and quoted $2,000 to repair. The car had no visible damage, and I asked to keep the part for independent analysis but was denied—despite offering to pay in full. Photos show the vehicle in flawless condition. Lexus initially refused warranty coverage and claimed a front tire may have kicked up a rock, despite all tires being behind the grille. Eventually, after repeated contact with Lexus corporate and both dealerships (in Jacksonville and Clearwater), they agreed to cover the repair—but still refused to return the damaged part. Several service advisors admitted this issue is common. The condenser appears unprotected behind the grille, making it vulnerable to debris. Given the low mileage and lack of damage, this points to a design flaw. Lexus’s inconsistent handling and denial of access to the part raise concerns. Request for Investigation Please investigate this as a potential systemic design defect. The vulnerability of the AC condenser can lead to repeat failures and high repair costs, especially in hot climates where AC is essential. Lexus has asked one owner if he would agree to being a guinea pig and allow them to add a screen behind the grill. 2020 LEXUS RX- San Juan Capistrano, CA
This vehicle, and those of its generation, have had an active passenger airbag recall since December 2023. There has been no news on a remedy, nor any meaningful updates on progress. I am unable to transport passengers in my front seat as I am afraid for their safety and my own liability.

2023 LEXUS RX- Ashland, VA
When removing foot from gas pedal the rpm shoot up to almost 4k instead of switching to EV mode or dropping to 1k rpm’s. This has scared my wife causing her to slam on brakes as she thought throttle was stuck since the rpm’s shot up. This is dangerous. It doesn’t happen all the time and Lexus did duplicate it but said was normal.
