2020 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR- Sugar Hill, GA
Was on Interstate when there was a loud bang, the transmission shifted harshly and I lost power where the vehicle would not go faster when i hit the pedal. I was basically pumping the gas for about 3-5 seconds before transmission re engaged. It was a dangerous situation in that I was at highways speeds about 65-70mph and i had no throttle control for several seconds. There was no warning when it happened and it re engaged and I was able to drive the vehicle home. Ford did replace the CDF drum under warranty but there should be a recall on this transmission. The the same thing happened in my other truck, an f150 which uses the same tranmission and engine combo.

2022 LINCOLN CORSAIR PHEV- San Pedro, CA
I was driving to work via the [XXX] in California when at approximately 6:40am I felt a jerking motion in my 2022 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring (PHEv) and then immediately began receiving various warning lights and chimes indicating an issue. The vehicle was losing power and I was safely able to exit the freeway and pull to the side of the road. There were numerous warning indicators activated, including Service Engine Soon, Hill Start Assist failure, Pre-Collision Assist failure, EV Battery not available, and others. I exited the vehicle to ensure that there was not any visible physical damage, and did not find anything. I checked the Owners Manual for the warnings and it indicated that if the vehicle was able to be driven, it could but with caution. I proceeded to drive to work, approximately 4.7 miles away. The vehicle could not be driven over 35 MPH without violently shaking, along with a mechanical grinding noise. Drive Control was also not active and the vehicle felt like it had no suspension. Estimated repair time was approximately 1 week per the Lincoln Concierge (LC), and no root problem had been identified at the time. On Monday, 10/28 I followed up via text to the LC for an update and was informed that they checked with the Transmission technician and they had started to “tear down the transmission to find the fault.” On 10/30, I asked for another update and to inform the LC that I had a preplanned vacation to Big Bear, CA on 11/7/24 and hoped to have it back before then. On 10/31, the LC informed me that the Tech had “ordered a new transmission today and should be here by Tuesday [11/5/24].” On 11/5, I followed up via text to the LC and was informed that the new arrival date for the transmission would be 11/6 or 11/7. Because I did not have my Corsair and wanted to be cautious of the miles on the loaner, we took an alternate vehicle for the road trip. See PDF attached for additional details. 2022 LINCOLN AVIATOR PHEV- Arlington, VA
I had damage to my electrical system caused by rodents chewing wires. Upon researching this issue I have found that Ford Motor Company has used soy-based wire coatings which has led to this being a consistent problem with this vehicle. Not only did this cost me $1,500+ dollars to repair which is not covered by warranty it clearly presents a safety hazard in a hybrid vehicle with a high voltage system. It isn't right that Ford Motor Company sticks me with this bill nor is is right that this is allowed to go on without them being responsible to replace affected wiring.

2017 LINCOLN MKC- Hagerhill, KY
The battery sensor module is faulty. I have to go out every morning and jump start my car. I have replaced the battery twice withing 7 months so I know it's not the battery. When I took it to the dealer ford/lincoln dealer near me and asked about the sensor recall, they said that it was likely the cause. This way back in June and they still say the parts are on back order for over 7 months. I have full warranty on the vehicle and have to jump start it if it hasn't been drove withing 8-10 hours. Even let it run yesterday for 45 minutes so it would be okay this morning. Lights won't even come on. Had to manually unlock the doors with the key to even get the cars eat out of the car.

2021 LINCOLN CORSAIR- Missouri City, TX
My backup camera still turns blue. I have had the recall done to fix the issue but it still happens occasionally. Seems to be just random when it happens and no direct cause when it does happen.

2017 LINCOLN MKZ- Mims, FL
On Jan. 10, 2025 all the brake fluid leaked out of my MKZ. Fortunately, this occurred a few miles from my home and was able to get the car into the drive. I was first alerted of the problem by the "low brake fluid" message on the dash panel and virtually no braking power. On 1/13/25 I had the car towed to a local Ford Dealer and was informed that the brake lines to both rear wheels were indeed severely rusted thru and had to be replaced. (Approx. 117K mi) (The front hoses were also replaced as per a recall notice on 9/26/23.)
