2018 LINCOLN MKZ- Houston, TX
The contact owns a 2018 Lincoln MKZ. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was driven to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that there was a coolant intrusion into the engine. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 46,000.

2018 LINCOLN MKC- Delray Beach, FL
The contact owns a 2018 Lincoln MKC. The contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing excessive coolant consumption. Additionally, the contact noticed that there was an abnormal coolant odor inside the cabin of the vehicle while driving. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with coolant leaking onto the ignition coil #2. The mechanic replaced the spark plugs, and the ignition coil #2 was replaced several times; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the engine needed to be replaced due to coolant intrusion in the engine. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

2017 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL- Dearborn, MI
The contact owns a 2017 Lincoln Continental. The contact stated while driving at approximately 40 MPH and coming upon a red traffic light, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to stop, and the brake pedal went to the floorboard. The contact activated the parking brake to stop the vehicle. The contact became aware of brake fluid underneath the vehicle near the wheel and brake hose. The contact took the vehicle to a body shop nearby and a certified mechanic inspected the vehicle and diagnosed that the brake hose had failed. The brake hose and brake line had been replaced. The contact became aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V162000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic); however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who confirmed that the brake hose had failed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that due to the failure not being caused due to an accident there would be no assistance. The failure mileage was 90,000.

2024 LINCOLN AVIATOR- TAYLORSVILLE, KY
The headlight control switch emits high pitch noise.When you toggle the switch To go between the different Segments of the headlight switch. I've brought it to the dealer and the tech was able to determine where the noise Was coming from. I had advised them.I had disconnected the battery prior and made the noise go away.So that's what they did and now they say it's a non issue cause the noise went away. I have a video demonstrating the issue with the switch.I'm afraid of an issue of fire. It's been. To the dealership twice now, for this issue and it still has not been resolved.I've spoke to corporate Lincoln in regards to the issue.And it's supposed to be escalated.But i'm getting ghosted by everyone at this time. This issue started in the first week of my ownership.It was worse than that point in time.It was so bad.I was unable to drive the car because it was giving me such severe migraine headaches because of the pitch of the noise. The noise when present is very distracting when you are trying to operate the vehicle safely.

2020 LINCOLN NAUTILUS- Maiden Rock, WI
The contact owns a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus. The contact stated while driving downhill at 55 MPH with the cruise control activated, the vehicle failed to maintain the set speed and accelerated to 70-75 MPH. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the vehicle had standard cruise control; not adaptive cruise control that could automatically apply the brakes while driving and maintain the set speed. The vehicle was then taken to Ellsworth Ford, Inc. (424 Industrial Rd, Ellsworth, WI 54011), where an unknown repair was performed; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 24,000.

2011 LINCOLN MKX- Oak Point, TX
The contact owns a 2011 Lincoln MKX. The contact stated that while attempting to stop the vehicle, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond as needed. The vehicle was driven to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the ABS system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.

2011 LINCOLN MKX- Lewisburg, KY
The contact owns a 2011 Lincoln MKX. The contact stated that while the vehicle was stopped at a traffic light, upon shifting the gear shifter into drive, the vehicle started reversing independently. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle five times before the vehicle started operating as intended. The vehicle was then driven to the residence. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer nor independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 192,000.

2000 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL- Akron, OH
The contact owns a 1979 Lincoln Continental. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked and turned off, there was smoke coming from the vehicle. The contact stated that the rear end near the driver's side of the vehicle had caught on fire. The vehicle was extinguished by the Fire Department. A fire report was filed, and a fire report number was provided; however, the cause for the failure was not yet determined. A Police report was not filed. No injuries were sustained. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was towed to an impound lot. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 137,070. The VIN was invalid.

2020 LINCOLN AVIATOR- Milton, NY
The contact owns a 2020 Lincoln Aviator. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was a humming sound coming from the sunroof. Additionally, the contact noticed a fluttering sound coming from underneath the vehicle and the vehicle was shaking abnormally. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the sunroof assembly needed to be adjusted. In addition, the contact was informed that the undershields on the front under-carriage of the vehicle were warped due to fractured bolts. The contact was informed that the bolts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 59,928.
