I was driving driving down the road at 45 MPH, and then the rear object sensor came on the dash. Then the Check engine light and about not reading a sensor. Then the vehicle locked up all 4 wheels squealed tires and came to complete stop, and then started moving forward again. Then I got scared and stopped the vehicle, put it in park and then put it back in drive, driving slower until the sensors flashed back on, I pulled over cut the vehicle to re start it and it would not cut back on, but never shut completely off. The AC fans were still blowing full blast, but the motor was not running and we could not get it to re start. We ended up disconnecting the ECM and Plugged it back in and it started back up. We have Driven it Since with no other issues but today the sensors started flashing today.

My engine kept misfiring upon starting and not accelerating while I was driving it. A coolant leak into the cylinder caused the engine to malfunction. I had to replace the entire engine block which cost over $7,000.00. The Ford repairman & service center told me that Ford had issued a service bulletin regarding this issue but then refused to pay for the engine damage. I only have 70K miles on the Lincoln.

2.0 Ecobooster engine. Coolant started leaking into engine right after an oil change at dealership. Now I need a new engine. I have researched that this is a known engine problem for Ford. We need a recall. I cannot afford a $9,000 repair for something Ford knew about.

My 2017 Lincoln mkc 2.0 . My mechanic confirmed it has a coolant leak going into the engine. There is a known defect with the 2.0 engine.Which is requiring me to have to purchase a brand new engine with only 33,000 miles warranty expired 2023. The code that was present at the time was p0301. This is a safety concern this vehicle will leave u stranded and in worst case scenario dead because of engine failure. Lincoln should recall the engines on these vehicles!

The transmission doesn't respond several times and could not picking up speed up hill. There were twice the transmission stopped working, the car could not move and stopped in intersection at traffic light. The problem was first reported to Lincoln during 6 years/70,000 miles powertrain warranty Lincoln did the reprogramming but didn't solve the problem and then refused to repair when the problem recur at 6 year and one month, even my car has extended warranty. Lincoln issued several TSBs and knows the CDF drum failure but reluctant to fix the issue. It is not safe to drive when the transmission could not work after a stop at red light or pickup speed at ramp.
