2014 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR- WESTFIELD, IN
My vehicle exhibits an illuminated malfunction indicator light (MIL) and sometimes a wrench light in the instrument cluster. I had a diagnostic done on my truck to troubleshoot issue and the code was P0720. Ford issued a recall on Lincoln Navigator built between April 11, 2011 through August 19, 2013. My truck was built October 2013 and Tom Wood Ford of Indianapolis Indiana states my vehicle does not qualify for the recall and they want $1400.00 to repair the same issue as the recall notice. I was under the assumption that If an affected vehicle exhibits an illuminated malfunction indicator light (MIL) and/or wrench light in the instrument cluster with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0720, P0722, P0731 and/or P1500 stored in the PCM, dealers are to replace the molded leadframe and this service must be performed at no charge to the vehicle owner. I believe Ford/Lincoln still installed the faulty recalled parts on all Lincoln Navigators that were built the whole year in 2013. I would like for this expensive repair to be covered under the Ford Customer Satisfaction Program 19N01.

2014 LINCOLN MKT- Fayetteville , NC
My 2014 Lincoln MKT has two moonroofs. The first one exploded on 9/12/22 while driving the car on a sunny, wind free day. Sounded like a gunshot hit the glass and was frightening. Car is 8 years old at time of incident. I see this has been an ongoing issue with Ford/Lincoln since 2007. These parts need t be recalled. The glass alone is $3300 with total 3 day repair over $5K! Had to find a glass vendor who could shrink wrap exterior/interior so glass would not fall into vehicle and rain would not enter vehicle. See class action lawsuits have been previously filed.

2017 LINCOLN MKZ- Franklinton, NC
I was driving and started smelling toxic fumes come inside my car, steering wheel started jerking. I didn’t think much of it until my 2 year old daughter in the backseat was looking as if she was about to pass out. Her eyes started rolling and her words were slur, more slur than normal. I immediately pulled over and saw the fumes were coming from my tail pipe. It was a huge cloud of smoke. It was my car that was the problem. I had to leave my car on the side of the road and get someone to take us home. It wasn’t safe to drive in the condition it was in. The next day I got it towed to the mechanic and he said my car lacked coolant and the engine needs to be replaced. I looked online and saw that this was an ongoing problem for the make and model of my vehicle and Ford is aware of it. The mechanic quoted my thousands of dollars to get it repaired. Ford won’t help. This incident could’ve killed my daughter and me. PLEASE HELP MAKE MY CAR A RECALL ON THE ENGINE! I have no transportation.

2019 LINCOLN MKC- Crowley, TX
My 2019 Lincoln MKC has a coolant leak internal the engine. It is a known issue listed on the TSB (Technical Service Bulletin), however, Lincoln does not want to knowingly issue a recall. It has been informed as well per a Lincoln Dealership Service Advisor that several Lincoln’s have been in the dealership with this specific issue In which they feel that Lincoln should issue a recall, however, has not due to them not wanting to be responsible for replacing multiple engines due to the financial expense. I have spoken to Lincoln corporate in which they agreed to assist with the expense, however, will not cover the full amount. I have researched as well as paid over $600 to have a Auto shop confirm that the issue being experienced is not something that one can cause themselves directly to a vehicle regardless of the mileage. This is a 2019 Lincoln MKC in which should absolutely not be taking place as well unsafe and concerning with having a minor traveling in the vehicle. TSB 19-2208

2017 LINCOLN MKZ- Franklinton, NC
My engine is overheating, causing my steering wheel to jerk while on the highway. Took to dealership and they said loss of coolant and could potentially cause a fire if not treated. Looked online and saw that Ford is aware of the problem but will not correct it. The dealership is asking me to pay $8,000 to fix it for Ford initially putting in a faulty engine. I had to stop my car because smoke was coming out the tailpipe. The car isn’t safe to drive.
