MY VEHICLE HAS TWO FAULTS THAT I BELIEVE ARE UNSAFE. FIRST, WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE HAS ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS PUT ITSELF INTO NEUTRAL AND SHUT THE ENGINE OFF. AN ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL (ETC) WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATES WHEN THIS HAPPENS. THE MOST RECENT OCCURRENCE WAS ON AUGUST 24, 2026, AT LOW SPEED IN THE MIDDLE OF A TURN WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC PRESENT. I LOST DRIVE PART WAY THROUGH THE TURN AND HAD TO RESTART THE ENGINE WHILE STOPPED IN THE ROADWAY TO CLEAR THE INTERSECTION. THERE HAS BEEN NO CRASH AND NO INJURY. SECOND, THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY FAILS TO START. SOMETIMES IT STARTS NORMALLY. OTHER TIMES IT WILL NOT START AT ALL, AND ONLY STARTS AFTER REPEATED ATTEMPTS AND A WAIT WHILE THE SYSTEMS RESET. THE KEY FOB BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE, ONCE BY ME AND ONCE BY THE DEALER IN JANUARY 2026, AND I HAVE TRIED MULTIPLE KEY FOBS. THE PROBLEM CONTINUED IN EVERY CASE, SO I DO NOT BELIEVE THE FOB IS THE CAUSE. THE DEALER'S OWN REPAIR RECORDS SHOW REPEATED ELECTRICAL FAULTS ON THIS VEHICLE. IN FEBRUARY 2025 AT 32,337 MILES THE VEHICLE STORED CODE P00C1, DISPLAYED AN ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL MESSAGE AND WAS SLOW TO ACCELERATE; A WIRING HARNESS WAS FOUND SHORTED AGAINST THE A/C CONDENSER PULLEY AND FUSE 37 HAD BLOWN. THAT IS THE SAME WARNING I NOW SEE WHEN THE VEHICLE SHUTS DOWN. IN JUNE 2026 AT 64,485 MILES THE A/C COMPRESSOR SEIZED. IN AUGUST 2026 AT 65,625 MILES THE REPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR'S CLUTCH WAS FOUND SHORTED AT 0 OHMS AGAINST A 3.3 OHM SPECIFICATION, DRAWING OVER 12 AMPS ON A CIRCUIT PROTECTED BY A 10 AMP FUSE, WHICH OPENED FUSE F12. TWO COMPRESSORS FAILED IN TEN WEEKS. I DO NOT KNOW WHETHER THE STALLING AND THE NO-START ARE RELATED TO THOSE ELECTRICAL FAULTS. NOBODY HAS DIAGNOSED THEM. THE STALLING HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED AND I HAVE STOPPED DRIVING THE VEHICLE. SERVICING DEALER: MASERATI OF CHARLOTTE, 400 TYVOLA ROAD, CHARLOTTE, NC.

The factory installed dashboard leather has pealed away. I was informed that the airbag safety issue of it not deploying is a serious concern that needs to be addressed. I have contacted Maserati directly but they weren’t of any assistance in this matter. I have photos showing the issue and clear concern.

BRAKE FAILURE - SAFETY DEFECT RELEASED BY DEALER Brake pad warning light first appeared in February 2026. Dealer advised replacing rear brake pads. I chose to have the service performed at German Auto Care using original Maserati brake pads. Warning light continued intermittently after replacement. On 4/10/2026 during oil change service I informed dealer about ongoing brake pad warning light. Dealer repair order documented "8mm Pass" and returned vehicle. On 5/11/2026 manufacturer was emailed prior notice of unresolved brake safety defect and repair deadline. On 5/14/2026 manufacturer executive replied refusing assistance and claimed dealer did "full inspection" with "all fluids topped off." On 5/15/2026 same dealer repair order documented: "Left front inner pad 2mm, brake sensor contacted, right front 5mm, rear 4mm." Photos of failed brakes attached. Coolant expansion tank "nearly empty" contradicting 5/14 email. On 5/18/2026 dealer released vehicle with $0.00 customer approved. $5,311.32 in safety items declined. Brake warning light remains active. Photos at 55,952mi and 55,981mi attached. Vehicle is unsafe to drive. Dealer falsified 4/10/2026 records. Manufacturer had prior notice and refused assistance 1 day before failure was documented by dealer. Request immediate investigation. The failed brake components are available for inspection upon request. Safety of driver and public was put at risk due to dealer releasing vehicle with 2mm brake pads. Problem was confirmed by dealer technician on repair order with photos. Manufacturer was notified before and after failure. Warning light first appeared in February 2026 and remains active intermittently.

I leased a 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Modena, delivered December 31, 2025. Within the first four months, the vehicle has experienced four tire blowouts during normal highway driving, without impact, collision, or rim damage I provided dashcam evidence showing that the tire failures occurred under normal road conditions. Despite this, Maserati has consistently attributed the incidents to “road hazards” and has offered no investigation or acknowledgment of a potential defect. Most concerning, no solution has been provided to prevent recurrence. Each failed tire has been replaced with the exact same specification, despite repeated failures, leaving an ongoing safety concern. I made multiple good-faith efforts to work with Maserati to identify solutions, including alternative tire configurations or safer options for Northeast driving conditions. These requests were not addressed. During a phone call, I was dismissively told by a representative (Anthony) to seek solutions myself. Maserati has refused my request for a buyback or lease termination, despite repeated failures, lack of a preventative solution, and extended loss of use. The assertion that this vehicle is “suitable for normal driving conditions” is inconsistent with its real-world performance. Four identical failures within four months under routine conditions is not consistent with normal operation and indicates a systemic issue, regardless of whether a traditional “manufacturing defect” has been identified. Equally concerning, Maserati’s only proposed guidance is to “avoid road hazards” and reduce speed. This is not a realistic or acceptable solution for operating a vehicle on public roads in the Northeast United States, where such minor imperfections are unavoidable. Advising avoidance of normal road conditions does not resolve the issue and does not ensure safety.

The contact owns a 2024 Maserati GranTurismo. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle unexpectedly and aggressively pulled to the right while the contact was in the middle lane. There were no warning lights illuminated. While attempting to make a left turn, the contact had to abruptly depress the brake pedal to prevent the vehicle from crashing into an object. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the suspension had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer on several occasions for the failure, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was later towed to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired, and the dealer refused to service the vehicle. The vehicle was then taken to another dealer, who also refused to repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 750.

This complaint concerns a safety related recall issued by Maserati. I'm required to drive over 100 miles to the nearest authorized dealership to have the recall performed. No closer repair option, mobile repair, or alternative remedy was offered. Requiring this distance creates an unreasonable burden and discourages timely completion of a safety recall, potentially placing drivers at risk. Last year there was another re-call where I had to drive over 100 miles as well.

The contact owns a 2023 Maserati Grecale. The contact stated that while driving 20 MPH and approaching a stop sign, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to stop as intended, made a loud revving sound, and the vehicle decelerated to approximately 15 MPH. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle passed the stop sign, and the contact manually turned off and parked the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was test-driven, but the failure could not be replicated. The contact was informed that no failure was found. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact inquired about buyback assistance. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and sent documents to the contact, offering monetary compensation in exchange for not reporting the safety failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,666.

I purchased this 2020 Maserati Levante in 2023. The first month of driving it, it shut down in the middle of the street on Crenshaw Blvd. I freaked out and restarted it after few seconds. For the past years of purchasing this vehicle, the engine light keeps coming on and off.The camera never worked good because it would freeze, the screen would be blue, green, or red or completely blank out, with no rear view which is very dangerous. I would start the vehicle and engine light on dashboard. I called dealership and was told it happens when gas is low. I didn’t understand. I keep the vehicle 1/2 filled with gas. I keep seeing the engine light come on and goes off in one to two days. For the past 2 years. The “Start/Stop light comes on with an exclamation ?? mark for past 8 months. I would drive for a week or so and the see the engine light back on the dashboard. I have been to dealer at Vanuys Maserati 2 times with issues. The right passenger inside frame fell off in 2024. They fixed it . They told me the screws were loose. I went back on September 30, 2025, because the engine light came on again on September 28 & 29, 2025 and the Start/stop ??remains on. On that morning of September 30, 2025 the engine light miraculously came off. They did a diagnostic check and charged me $700 and told me I need a new reverse camera and a thermostat. So in all since 2023 of June, I have been having critical issues with camera blanks out. The engine light goes off and on. The start/stop don’t work anymore. Please help me with this issue with a thorough investigation on this Maserati Levante 2020.

While driving on the highway on 09/19/2025, my 2023 Maserati Grecale suddenly lost all electrical power. The battery failed without warning, and the vehicle became completely unresponsive, including loss of steering and braking functions. This created an extremely dangerous situation where I had no control over the car in the middle of a highway while driving at 55mph. This is a major safety defect. I no longer feel safe driving this vehicle and intend to return it. Immediate investigation is needed, as this failure could cause fatal accidents.
