Steering sticks while driving. Then, all of a sudden releases, and this causes a jerk in the steering and vehicle movement in the direction of steering. Vehicle recall 6524A/Jan 18, 2024 for "increase in steering effort" was completed in April 2024. This issue is very apparent at interstate highway cruising speeds to just maintain staying in traffic lane. Worried that steering may continue sticking and not be able to maneuver vehicle to drive safely avoid an accident. Turned off the vehicle lane assist feature to diagnose the issue, the issue still exists with the lane assist feature turned off.

Fuel issues P0460 fuel level sensor circuit. Engine malfunction light comes on with fuel sensor issue. The car is full of fuel or not even close to be empty but the sensor reads off triggering a chain of event. Killing car mid of the highway when it got enough fuel. Average full tank ranges 280mi, this instance it only drove 202mi and the sensor reads 14mi to go with quarter Guage left in the tank. Then the needles drops by a notch. I can't upload the video but attached at the screenshot. Contacted dealer and they won't diagnos till 90days out. This is safety hazard and the car comes to halt in the mid of the drive. Where it's highway, parking lot, or anywhere; as if it's out of gas but the tank still good. Wait for few minutes and restart the car the garage read normal. The dealer doesnt want to listen or even consider this as safety issue. Multiple dealer reject to even make an appointment and request that I go to the dealer I purchased the car from.

The driver window, upon attempted to be let up, will start to go up then go all the way down, ignoring the function to go up. This is a safety concern, as harsh temperatures and foreign objects are able to enter the vehicle cabin at any time, including driving. The problem has been reproduced by a dealer, and the vehicle is available for inspection upon request. There are no warning indicators for this issue beyond witness the failure occur in real time.

When this feature is left on in my vehicle, it will detect curves, vehicles, and objects that are not there, and as a result, will attempt to turn my steering wheel (safety concern). I have had to keep this feature turned off to prevent it wrecking the car, because I could be on a straight road, and it will detect a curve that isn’t there and begin turning the wheel, which could result in a fatal accident if not corrected and disabled by the driver. It is available for inspection upon request. As the dealer has not driven the vehicle, they have not recreated the error, however if anyone were to drive the vehicle, they would be able to observe the malfunction. The dealer has been made aware on many occasions, though they never documented it and only suggested that I turn the feature off, which automatically turns itself on upon ignition. There are no warnings that there is a malfunction; you only know there is an error once an alert pops up thinking you’re missing a curve and attempts to turn your steering wheel though there is no curve. This issue has persisted over the life of the vehicle.

The thermostat malfunctioned on this vehicle, resulting in the thermostat remaining open and providing excess coolant to the engine, which in turn damaged internal components of the engine (compromises safety), decreased fuel economy, increased emissions (compromised safety), and decreased the life of the engine within the vehicle. It is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle has been inspected by an independent mechanic and will be inspected by the Mazda dealership in 7 days. There were no prior warnings until the engine malfunction notice appeared, the vehicle began to make jolts and stuttering sounds, and the temperature gauge within the vehicle failed to rise to optimal range. As this occurred while the vehicle was in use (safety concern), though I was pushing the gas there would be delayed response due to improper temperature, which increased the risk for an accident to occur.

The windshield wiper sprayers don't work properly when it gets significantly below freezing. This is incredibly dangerous on highways where it snows and the roads are salted, allowing for the snow to be thrown up as mud. This ends up in the windshield wipers just spreading mud all over the windshield and reducing visibility to near 0. Having this occur while driving at lower highway speeds makes this incredibly dangerous. Having to pull over on the highway when it's snowing isn't great, especially when some mountain highways have concrete walls with no shoulder. Using fluid that is rated for below freezing also causes this to freeze, suggesting that it may be related to wind chill while traveling at speed. It's also definitely not an issue with the overall system or the fluid because the rear windshield wipers still work. This is probably due to the way they designed this to move the emitters off the hood. A search for the term, "mazda cx-9 windshield wiper frozen", shows many such reports online. Some have complained to Mazda only to have this ignored by them. There were on indicators in the vehicle to show that that was a potential problem.

Turning steering wheel to the left seems to stick somewhat between 9 and 11 o'clock position. It seems more likely happening in cold weather and more obvious at lower speeds.

The contact owns a 2025 Mazda CX-30. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the messages "i-Activsense Malfunction", "In Vehicle Network malfunction" and "ABS Malfunction" were displayed. Additionally, several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact was able to drive to the residence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with an unknown harness failure; however, the part was not available to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was provided a rental. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 71.

The wires under the hood were chewed up by rodents. The cars wires are insulated with a soy based wiring coating. My car is at the dealership for repair and deemed undrivable. This is so unfair because the car is new and only has 6200 miles on it. I am now facing insurance deductible. The dealer says the vehicle is undrivable because it is a safety issue and the engine might catch fire

Small amount of weight such as keys or phone is triggering the Occupant sensor in the front passenger seat. This issue just started and I am finding a lot of complaints regarding this.
