After changing the tires on my G580 at my local Mercedes dealer on December 26, 2025, on the ride home, about 10 minutes after leaving the dealership, my left rear wheel detached from the vehicle. It hit oncoming traffic and caused an accident. My axle hit the ground after the wheel came off and dug a long and deep trench in the road, releasing vaporized asphalt and metal (from the axle, which got shaved down) into the cabin. I breathed this vapor for several minutes before it dissipated (it was 8 degrees F outside, so I couldn't wait outside the car). I ended up in the ER later that night with smoke inhalation symptoms and have sought medical treatment since.

2 of 245/40HR18XL & 2 of 225/45HR18XL... All 4 tires replaced I purchased a 2023 Mercedes-Benz C300 from Benzel Busch motor car (an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer) in [XXX] in XXX. Since purchase, this vehicle has had repeated, unresolved defects. The Check Engine warning light has illuminated numurous times, resulting 4 separate towing incidents. Despite multiple warranty repairs, the same issues keep recurring. At only 10,167 miles, one tire required replacement due to abnormal wear. At only 22,780 miles, all 4 tires required full replacement for the same reason. In total 5 tires have been replaced within 22,780 miles, strongly suggesting an underlying vehicle defect (alignment, suspension or steering) rather then normal wear. I paid $1,700 out of picket for the 22,780 miles tire replacement, as tires are not typically covered under warranty. I believe this cost resulted directly from an unresolved vehicle defect, not drive behavior. I filed a formal complaint with Mercedes-Benz USA Customer Assistance Center and received Case No. XXX. I was told reimbursement would not be provided. Desired Resolution: Reimbursement of $1,700 for the tire replacement caused by an unresolved vehicle defect, and a written explanation of how Mercedes-Benz USA will address the recurring mechanical issues. ?"The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster [Driver side Display on my 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 completely blacked out while the vehicle was in operation, ((entirely removing my access to critical vehicle telemetrics, including the speedometer, fuel gauge, milage, oil, and safety warning indicators)). I received no advance warning prior to the display failure. This is a severe safety hazard and a direct violation of FMVSS 101. I observed this defect for the first time today. This issue aligns identically with the defect parameters outlined in NHTSA Recall 26V281000 regarding the infotainment control unit reset loops." My 2025 Mercedes CLE 300 instrument cluster has suffered a total blackout.

The vehicle has swivel seats. When the driver’s seat swivel, it’s severed the wires, the control the SRS system.

EXTENDED WARRENTY INFORMATION MERCEDEZ BENZ HAS ISSUED WARRENTY TO THAT APPLIE TO CONDISTIONS AS LISTED ABOVE (EXHAUST VALVE, CYLINER HEAD ) BACK 08/04/2023 THE CAR HAS IN MERCEDEZ BENZ AND HAVE FAILED TO PICK ON THE EXTENDED WARRRENTY REPAIRS AND WE NOW FIND OUT THIS CASED MORE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE AND NEEDS TO REPLACE CAMSHAT AND , CONTROL VALVE, ROLLER ROCKER ARM, AND ENGINE CAMSHAFT FOLLOWER . IT'S ALL BECAUSE DEALERSHIP FAILED AND NOTFIY US OF NEEDED REPAIRS . THEY ARE WILL COVER THE REPAIS ON EXHAUST VALVE SYSTEM BUT NOT CAMSHAT AND , CONTROL VALVE, ROLLER ROCKER ARM, AND ENGINE CAMSHAFT FOLLOWER . I FEEL DUE THEIR NEGLIGENCE THEY NEED COVER THIS AS WELL THEY ARE ASKING PAYMENT OF $2879.63 FROM ME

Subsequently, an increased risk of a fire cannot be ruled out. Vehicle is unsafe. limited usage to 80% (about 170mls) can't park in the garage / heavy commute vehicle / No remedy since Feb 2026 / I want Mercedes Benz to take it back and refund me my costs of owning the vehicle.

I am submitting this complaint regarding a serious safety issue involving my vehicle. For an extended period of time, this vehicle has experienced recurring starting failures. On multiple occasions, the vehicle would not start, requiring service visits to the dealership. Despite repeated repair attempts, the dealership was unable to identify the root cause of the problem and typically performed only software updates. I was repeatedly informed that no specific defect could be found.Recently, the issue escalated into a much more dangerous event. While driving, the engine suddenly shut down without warning. The loss of engine power occurred during normal vehicle operation and created a significant safety hazard. This unexpected engine shutdown could have resulted in a collision, serious injury, or loss of vehicle control, particularly if it had occurred in heavy traffic or at highway speeds.What is especially concerning is that this incident appears to be related to the same unresolved condition that has resulted in multiple prior service visits. The vehicle has a documented history of similar symptoms, yet the underlying cause has never been identified or permanently corrected.Based on the repeated failures, unsuccessful repair attempts, and the recent engine shutdown while driving, I am concerned that this vehicle may have a safety-related defect affecting its reliability and safe operation. I am submitting this complaint so that the issue can be investigated and evaluated for potential broader safety implications.The vehicle continues to cause concern whenever it is driven because there is no assurance that the engine will not shut down again unexpectedly.

My 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB is included in the high-voltage battery fire recall (NHTSA campaign 26V073). The recall states the battery cells may fail internally at a high state of charge, causing an internal short circuit and a potential fire whether the vehicle is parked or being driven, with no advance warning while parked. As interim safety measures, Mercedes-Benz instructed me to limit charging to 80% and to park the vehicle outdoors, away from structures. These restrictions materially impair the vehicle's use: I cannot charge to full capacity and cannot park in my garage due to the fire risk to my home. The permanent remedy is replacement of the high-voltage battery pack. However, my Mercedes-Benz dealer has informed me that the replacement parts will not be available until 2027. That means I am being asked to operate a vehicle with an acknowledged fire risk, under charging and parking restrictions, for roughly 18 months or more, with no remedy currently available. I am requesting that NHTSA document this lack of an available remedy and the extended timeline. A delay of this length leaves owners exposed to the safety defect the recall was issued to address.

While taking off from a traffic light the rear end came apart on the inside of the differential. Has someone been in a dangerous area or remote areas like where I have to work it could have been a serious issue
