    DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GAS PEDAL ONLY HAD A ONE INCH CLEARANCE FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONSULTED, WHO CONFIRMED THAT THIS WAS THE DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE.
