While I was driving on 77 south in Charlotte nc rt before exit 11 I heard a scraping and rattling sound then a loud pop. My air pressure immediately came on and dropped to zero for the passenger rear tire. I got off and pulled to the side of the road until road side assistance was able to tow my vehicle. My tire is p255/45 r20

Mitsubishi has documented this exact factory defect under TSB TS-25-13-001 (NHTSA ID: MC-11018002-0001), but the local dealership refuses to perform the safety repair without a massive out-of-pocket payment because the vehicle has 87,000 miles. This is an immediate fire and health hazard for anyone inside the vehicle.

The contact stated that the safety features were inoperable, and the vehicle was almost involved in a crash. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had occurred while traveling with the family. The contact stated that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The vehicle was returned to Drivo Car Rental. The contact stated that while returning the vehicle to the agency, the contact was informed that the vehicle should not have been rented. In addition, the contact researched and became aware of an unrepaired recall associated with the VIN under NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V369000 (Back Over Prevention). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.

Hey I run over a pothole and. My tire went flat and then the air bag just came out that’s not supposed to happen just from a flat tire that’s a safety hazard

The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 MPH and pulling into the neighborhood through the slow-access gate, while the vehicle was approximately one foot from the gate, the brake pedal was depressed and the vehicle unintendedly accelerated. The vehicle crashed into the gate, causing the iron rails to detach. The contact was standing on the brake pedal with excessive force while attempting to steer the vehicle. The steering wheel was turned, and the vehicle suddenly came to a stop. There were no warning lights illuminated. There were no reported injuries. A police report was not filed. The contact was able to drive to the residence. The contact called a tow truck company, and the vehicle was towed to the local dealer. After several days, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure after performing several system scans. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The insurance company was notified of the failure, and the vehicle was towed to a body shop. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 500.

The car itself should not be sold considering the number of complaints about the transmission issues. I’ve only had the car a month and Its started to stall and jerks when in acceleration. The gears started to not shift properly and the car would not go over 20 miles without jerking. I took the car back to the lot to get it fixed and then it stopped, was driving back smoothly. The car shop said they changed the transmission oil which supposedly was the problem. 2 weeks later the car is back stalling and jerking with the “transmission service required” light back on yet again.

Make and Model of my car was recalled for a faulty Fuel Pump System, however my car was never listed as being one of those recalled, my fuel has now gone out due to this and I should be able to have this repaired. Car stalled in the middle of a busy intersection, will work once jumped, battery and alternator were both tested.
