Nuisance service advance trac light illuminates which in turn disables hill assist, abs and cruise control. Will reset when ignition is recycled. However no ABS on a large vehicle in adverse weather is unsettling. It’s my understanding that this is a frequent issue in the new Ford F53 chassis. Many consumers have reported dealerships are unable to determine the exact cause and only have the fault(s) return. I have reported this issue to the Ford Rv assistance division along with many others. I am unsure if ford is investigating appropriately to find a hard fix. Please contact Ford to make this determination for yourself. It is in my opinion that Ford find a solution and issue a recall. Feel free to contact with your concerns. 19ft factory installed awning detached from RV rendering RV undriveable. Mobile repair shop manufactured parts to securely and properly reattach awning. Shop reported factory install was very substandard. Additionally shop reported they had never seen an awning arm installed crossing over a window. Detachment fortunately occurred while RV was stopped. On the road the detachment would have most likely been complete and therefore a safety issue for following vehicles.

While stopping, a heavy knock was apparent from the forward left wheel area. This knock was speed related and was easily identified as a rotational noise. As the speed of the tire rotation decreased the knock slowed until it was identifiable as one knock per wheel rotation.

While driving on I-75 in the Venice, Florida area, the lower half of the window fell off our motorcoach. The window was located on the passenger side about 22 ft from the front. I have learned this morning that many reports of this continue being reported on windows made by Hehr, which is now owned by Lippert. We are so very thankful it did not hit the vehicle behind us.

I have a 2015 Newmar Canyon Star 3953 (on an F-53 Motorhome Chassis) serial number [XXX] with 57,335 miles. The attached picture does not do justice to what I have to say. The picture is the front rotor of the brake assembly. In between the outer and inner plates of the rotor are two steel rods. The only purpose (that is thought) of the rod is to balance the rotor. The problem is, the rotor heats up as you brake then expands the rotor which loosens the area around the rod. Centrifugal force moves the rod out of the air gap and it starts to hit the caliper (in the picture you can see the top of the rod is shiny) resulting in a thumping sound or what has happened, the rotor cracks. I have had to replace both front calipers and rotors as a result of these rods. Thankfully when the rotor cracked I was only traveling about 30 mph. I can only imagine what would have happened if I was traveling 60 mph. In talking with the mechanic the rod could have jammed on the front edge (worst case) of the rotor then broke all of the fins in the air gap and perhaps stopped the rotation of the tire. These were factory-installed rotors which clearly (in my opinion) a safety hazard and warrants a recall or at least an investigation. We had Ford recall #21S17 performed on our 2021 Bay Star Sport. Upon leaving the Ford dealership to return to our camp I started receiving warning lights and an error message on my console. Message was “hill assist disabled”, warning lights were for ABS , TCS operations. We called the dealership and we’re told to return to them. The motorhome was not hoisted, they used my stabilizing jacks and a manual jack to examine the rear. Upon talking to the technician, it was diagnosed as a passenger rear tone ring failure. The parts aren’t available to dealers, they are still manufacturing new chassis assemblies with the tone ring I require.I was sent away to drive with standard brakes and no conclusions. I had to return to the dealer to get any paperwork stating there was an issue after the recall fix. Ford’s owners manual states “this is a malfunction , have your vehicle checked as soon as possible. This is a common occurrence to the recall fix per the dealership. Driving such a large vehicle without the safety components that it is equipped with would be my liability and I need assistance. We have reached out to Ford Customer Service,Ford Fleet Service, and Ford RV Assistance. They have been poor in follow up to us, giving us no resolution. Any assistance would be appreciated.

IT ALL STARTED WITH THE ADVANCE TRACTION CONTROL. DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY WITH WIND GUST DISABILIES THE CRUISE CONTROL AND THEN THE ABS. THIS CONTINUED TO HAPPEN. YOUR HAVE TO PULL OVER AND TURN OFF THE RV TO RESET THE ABS. ON THE LONG TRIP WE WERE PULLING OVER ABOUT EVERY 10 TO 15 MINUTES TO RESET THE SYSTEM. WE TOOK OUR FORD V8 RV INTO SHOP FOR REPAIR. AFTER HAVING THE REPAIR DONE. WE TOOK A TRIP AND IMMEDIATELY IT HAPPENED AGAIN. IT WAS NOT FIXED. WE WERE TOLD THIS PROBLEM IS NOT FIXABLE FROM FORD AFTER SPENDING $581 FOR NOTHING. AND TOLD IT WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. PURCHASED IN JUNE 30 2021. WE BELIEVE THIS IS A MAIN PROBLEM DUE TO YOUR SPEED AND THE CRUISE CONTROL KICKING OFF THE ABS, DISABLING THE ABS, ESPECIALY IN TRAFFIC. NEWMAR AND FORD, BOTH DO NOT WANT TO TAKE RESPONSILIBITY AND WE ARE LEFT HANGING WITH THIS PROBLEM. WE HAVE COME TO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH ALL 2021 OR OLDER V53 CHASSIC ON RV'S THAT DOES NOT HAVE A FIX ON NUMEROUS RV MANUFACTURERS. EVERYONE THAT USES THAT PLATFORM

This is concerning the brake system (disk rotor & pads) on a vehicle with 2600 miles when detected. Vehicle manufacture date was March 2021, owner possession July 27, 2021. There has not been any one's safety compromised. Front Rotors are experiencing scoring which I can only conclude began during delivery of 2300 miles from Nappanee, IN. to Bend, OR. by manufacture. The abnormal wear was detected at 2600 miles during my post drive safety inspection. The condition was inspected by Josam Truck Frame & Alignment in Orlando Fl. Mileage at inspection was 7700 miles My concern is that this abnormality of scoring taking place with such low mileage and that the condition more than likely began on the delivery drive. Therefore, I can only conclude that there may exist a manufacture defect or improper installation being conducted.

Discovered an approximately 4" long crack in the hub plate of a rear wheel. The crack goes through the serial number stamp on the wheel (possible stress riser caused by the serial number stamp?). The wheel has been taken out of service and is available for inspection. No other agency has inspected the wheel. There were no symptoms of an issue (no abnormal tire wear was noticed and no vibration or unbalance issues were noticed). The crack was seen when I was doing a periodic lug nut torque check.
