Intake manifold part number 14001-7FH0C broke down while driving. Vehicle would not accelerate, when taken to mechanic, the code indicated that the intake manifold needs to be replaced. Nissan is aware of this and i have a case number with them. Case # [XXX] I was on the freeway when this happened, me and my wife were both very worried because there was no exit nearby as we were going up and down hills with other vehicles going around us. The component was inspected by a mechanic at Sun Devil Auto. I contacted the Nissan dealership and when they received the code error, they said I did not need to bring the vehicle in for inspection as that part is needed to be replaced. There were no warnings, no symptoms, and no warning lamps initially. This all happened as I was on a road trip from Gilbert, AZ to Williams, AZ. Then suddenly before I reached Payson, AZ it stopped accelerating. It took about 3 hours of driving this way maybe between speeds of 35-40mph back from Payson, AZ to Gilbert, AZ before the check engine light ignited and I was able to get the vehicle diagnosed at my nearest mechanic. I ordered the intake manifold and paid for it on 7/31/2023, but it has been on backorder because they stopped production on the original version and only want to sell an "updated" version of it as this failure known to Nissan USA Inc. After I paid for the Reset and pulled out of the CS garage my vehicle started jerking and grabbing. I took the CS representative in my vehicle and Jackie felt this. The issue could not be found. I took the auto back and now I received paperwork saying that the issue could not be duplicated. I took my vehicle then in October 3rd, 2023 with an appointment at 1p. The issue could not be found. I had 2 different times 2 techs ride in the parking lot. The car's drive shaft was taken out and another was placed in. Tech drove and the issue remained. My old drive shaft was returned to the vehicle. Next, my AWD coupler was unhooked. I didn't feel the issue. Then this was hooked back up. I was told around 4: 45p that day that the service tech was going to call me the next day, No invoice was received. Now I had a whirling/rubbing sound anytime the vehicle was moving along with the jerking. The CS rep never called me and I called a few days later. I was told the part wasn't cheap and it was the AWD coupler. The phone estimate for working on the vehicle with labor, and the part was 2500 and taxes. That was the verbal phone estimate. I took my cousin to Parkway on October 9th. We received a paper estimate. This is a similar problem to your NTB20-069. The exception is below 20 mph for the jerking, and turning the wheel for turns. Worse at very low speeds. Such as looking for a parking spot in a parking lot and right about ready to turn I get jerking and feel as if it bounces forward and backward as I was told AWD issues will feel like this. I was told the part will be ordered and I believe if it's similar to NTB20-069 there is a defect in the AWD. (the work/labor for 10/3/2023 and the replacement of the AWD coupler will be on the final bill) The other complaint form for another issue on 8/2/2023 is when it started AFTER receiving the invoice and starting to pull the vehicle out of the CS garage doors.

The Air Bag Light on the instrument panel came on for no reason. I took the vehicle to the dealership. I had to pay for a reset to have been done. There were 2 or 3 codes that came up. I was told and the paperwork said that the technician resolved the problem. I went to start the vehicle and the instrument panel light was off for the air bag and I have 2 new issues. The seat belt light is on and now after 10 seconds, the passenger airbag light goes from yellow to off as someone is sitting in the seat. The only way that the seatbelt light clears off of my instrument panel is by buckling the passenger side seatbelt. The dealership said that the issue had to be called into a tech higher-up. I never have received an answer. I had the codes programmed in and taken out and the original issue still exists I don't know if all airbags are not working as my instrument panel airbag light is on and don't actually know if the passenger side is actually working or not.

The transmission is jerking going from first to second gear. The rpm's will rev up but I get no speed. This vehicle only has 96,000 miles currently. The problem started occurring around 90,000 miles and took our family a while to figure out what was happening. It started out as a slight jerking and now is becoming quite problematic. I have reached out to the Nissan manufacturer to file a complaint but have not got anything from them with the exception of an apology. As we research this is a very common problem and yet there has not been a recall on the transmission unfortunately. This is putting our family in danger as we have to visit our family in two different states and often do not have good cell phone reception due to the mountainous regions. Now we do not feel safe traveling with this vehicle. We expected to get many more miles on this vehicle as our last vehicle was a Murano and got well over 200,000 miles. We have read that there has been instances where the transmission was replaced and covered up to 120,000 miles. Customer service at Nissan corporate informed us otherwise and stated it was only for models up to 2010. Our extended warranty is now out and we are not covered for the power train currenly.

The automatic emergency braking system activated when there was no hazard. it was a full on panic stop with ABS engaging. The event lasted about 2 seconds. There were no other cars near by so there was no incident. This is the first time this has happened and the Rogue was fine for the rest of that drive. the front sensor was free from obstruction when looked at about 10 mins later.

The defrost only blows out cold air, along with the drivers side heat. Heat comes out of the passenger side but the defrost and drivers side is always cold. The cold defrost makes for LESS visibility and freezes the windshield making it unsafe to drive in winter conditions or cold conditions. The actuator door has been replaced twice and did not fix the issue. The dealership has recommended the entire Heater / AC Unit Assembly being replaced for $3000. This is a common safety concern with the Nissan Rogue and should be recalled before further accidents/injuries/problems occur.
