On multiple occasions this vehicle has lost power whilst driving on public roads including but not limited to interstate roadways. The vehicle will be operating normally at speeds of up to 75 miles per hour (depending on the posted speed limit) and will suddenly lose power and speed to such a degree that it is unsafe and the speed cannot be regained. Vehicle has been inspected and "fixed" on multiple occasions, in multiple states including but not limited to Missouri and South Carolina where the incidents have occurred, however the issue has continued to occur. The locations the vehicle has been inspected and "fixed" include both dealerships and independently owned garage repair shops. The Nissan dealership has advised this issue is not under warrantee and is not part of a recall. They have advised there is a recall of the engine of the 2017 Nissan Rogue Electric vehicle only for the same issue.

After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed the vehicle with exhaust manifold, air-fuel ratio sensor, and O2 sensor failures. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to Voluntary Emission Recall Campaign PC717, but the VIN was not included. BEFORE THE 3 YEAR WARRANTY ON CAR RAN OUT. WHEN WE BROUGHT CAR INTO DEALERSHIP FOR OIL CHANGES AND CHECKUPS WE MENTIONED THAT PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG LIGHT WAS GOING ON AND OFF. BROUGHT BACK INTO DEALERSHIP AFTER 3 YEARS AND ASKED THEM TO REPAIR PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG THAT WAS STAYING ON CONSTANTLY...THE DEALERSHIP SAID THAT THEY WANTED AT LEAST $600 TO REPAIR OR TRY TO FIX IT AND THEY SAID THEY HAD NO RECORD OF OUR COMPLAINTS LISTED FOR OUR CAR! LEFT DEALERSHIP WITH NO WORK DONE DUE TO WE DID NOT HAVE FUNDS FOR THAT. TOOK OUR CAR IN 11/2022 TO AN AUTO REPAIR SERVICE SHOP AND THEY RAN A DIAGNOSTIC AND RECALABER ON THIS PROBLEM. NOTHING WORKED AT THE COST OF $265. WAS TOLD BY BOTH PLACES THAT PASSENGER FRONT SIDE AIRBAG COULD OR COULD NOT WORK..NO WAY OF TELLING UNLESS AIR BAGS WERE DEPLOYED. TOLD TO TAKE BACK TO DEALERSHIP AND HAVE THEM DO WORK.....LIKE CHECK WIRING UNDER SEATS ETC. DO OTHER NISSAN ROGUE OWNERS HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM?

The vehicle is well maintained with about 102,400 miles. There has been no previous indication that the transmission had any issues. While operating the vehicle under normal conditions. I drove about 10 miles and entered the highway. While accelerating to meet the speed limit of 70mph the vehicle began to experience a sudden loss of power. The RPMs would spike but the vehicle would decelerate. There were no warning lamps or other indications of what was wrong. I left the highway at the next exit and when I stopped to inspect the vehicle I found that the vehicle would not initially go into gear when I tried to get back on the road. The vehicle eventually went back into gear, though accelerating was jerky and inconsistent. I took it to Valvoline for an inspection and oil change. They found that the fluid levels were normal and could see no other indications of faults. I then took it to the Nissan dealership, where it is right now. The dealership recommended a transmission replacement.

This has happened multiple times on Interstate 20. I will merge onto the interstate and my Rogue will lose power completely. I can have the gas pedal almost at the ground and there is no acceleration. The RPM will go up to 4 but literally no acceleration is happening. I can feel the car get to 60 and then it won’t go any faster. At times when idle at a red light or in a parking spot so many warning lights will come on about pedestrian crossing and some other odd ones. If I turn the car off for 30+ seconds the car resets back to normal until the next time it does it. I don’t know if these two issues are related but both are impacting the trust I have in this vehicle to get me where I need to go and arrive alive. I have cell records and photos from some of the times the lack of acceleration situation happened because I was so frightened I called my spouse or son to ask what was happening. The incidents on I20 my children were also in the car and could feel that we were not going fast enough to keep up with traffic and could no accelerate or increase speed with the gas pedal going down, down

Twice in two years the sunroof drains have clogged causing severe water leaking into the cabin of the vehicle. The first time, the dealer cleaned them out and took everything out of my car to clean it, including seats and carpet. Now they are saying I will have to pay for it. Nissan has a recall regarding a leak into the dash side harness, I am wondering if this is only on vehicles with sunroofs. I talked to Nissan, they said there is nothing they will do for the issue. When I called the service department at the local Nissan dealer, I was told by one of their managers, "Thats why I will never buy a Nissan with a sunroof". This is clearly a known issue, there are thousands of people talking about this issue on forums. I was criticized when I was asked if the vehicle is usually parked outside. I told them that it was, which is not an abnormal practice in the US. Basically they said its my fault for the leak because I park outside. The main issue now is that the car is so waterlogged that it is starting to mold or mildew. Everything in the car is soaked, it is unusable. I do not understand how they know about this issue but have not done a recall to fix it.

The automatic emergency brake will activate when it's not supposed to. Then it will take several seconds for me to be able to drive again. This has caused me to almost be rear ended several times. I can turn the auto brake system off but it will come back on, on it's own.

Every day when I turn on my car my dash screen doesn’t work. There’s no back up camera, radio, nothing. I have to either wait five minutes or stop the car and manually reboot the system.
