The screen turns off suddenly while the vehicle is in use. Additionally, the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system is either deactivated or displays as “off” when the car is started. The sudden deactivation of the AEB system compromises the vehicle’s ability to automatically brake in critical situations, increasing the risk of a collision. The screen turning off could also limit access to important vehicle information or controls, further impacting safety. No warning lamps appeared prior to the failure. The issue with the screen and AEB deactivation happens when the vehicle is started, but there were no prior warnings before this started occurring. After so many recalls, I no longer feel safe with this vehicle.

I have been taking it between service appointments and the check engine and recall for the pass 4 Months then a week ago it stop while driving to my mailbox and acted like it was in an accident. Each time I have taken to the dealership they stated it unfortunate would have to wait until something worse happen because they couldn’t see it in the codes. Now that what was described has happened the dealership is stating I have to pay 3500 to determine if it is the engine. Before they can determine if it’s part of the recall after 4 months of me asking for the help and describing how the car was running.
