2015 RAM 1500- Miami, AZ
No power going up hills, won't shift going down hill, park sensors lights come on, zero oil pressure then Electronic Throttle. From what I seen on internet and from others with the same issues it's due to high pressure fuel pump which has a recall on it. But when it was sold by the dealership in November 2023 the dealership said there was NO open recalls. But then I find out there is an open recall for the high pressure fuel pump. Now this issues keeps going on. And today September 6 2024 my vehicle lost all power and the fuel light and Electronic throttle Warning light came on and if I had not been in the right Lane and a turn in I would have been hit from behind!

Truck has less than 78k miles on it and I am the second owner. Bought it from a dealer and I mentioned to them that the rear end seemed to have some new metal pieces on it with silicone around it. Hard to imagine silicone used on a rear end. When I questioned it, the salesman stated that it was all set and fine. When I road tested it, there was a stiffness in the steering wheel. I mentioned that as well and was told that they steer hard. Then once home, it continued and that didn't sit quite right with me, so I continued to contact the dealership and they never would return my calls. Eventually, something gave and the steering was fine. We have had the truck a year as of May 2024. On [XXX] I was driving on the highway, at 70mph and the rear end just snapped on my truck! In the middle of the highway! I cannot see a drop of gear oil, if there should be some. Rear end snapped clear off to spline. No idea what caused this as of yet. Spent 2 weeks trying to get the dealership to return my calls, texts or emails. Then took time off work to drive over there. Service man told me that Chrysler may cover it, Chrysler said it was the dealerships responsibility. Unreal. Never have a I towed a single thing with this truck, the rear end never should have busted like this. I seen some recalls, but do not know why my particular truck was not listed. I did see another complaint on this site, regarding the axle breaking and causing the rear end to bust. I have not taken the truck apart as of yet. Nobody wants to take responsibility without severe out of pockets costs to me. I am already without a vehicle to get to work. ON [XXX], I brought my truck to the dealer because the ABS light and traction control light were staying on. The dealer hooked it up to their diagnostic machine and it said the vehicle a Failed ABS Control Module. The dealer said that part was not available to April of 2024. I went back in April to the Dealer, Part still not Available! I called Ram Corporate and they said the part was in engineering. Today (August 22,2024) Ram Corporate called and said the part is at the dealer. (11months of waiting). I asked why wasn't there a recall on this item? i was very disappointed in the Ram Corporation. I felt like they should of covered the cost for this item. So now I'm writing this message to see if anyone else has this same issue, thanks, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Fuel Tank strap (Front) disconnected from the frame slot it is attached to. The frame slot is completely rusted out. This was a recall on earlier models and amended to include other years including my year (2015). Yet it does not come up as a recall for my vehicle. I've seen online that this is a common problem with the Ram 1500. Vehicle mileage is 50,575.

My power steering failed suddenly while driving in the middle of a turn. I nearly crashed into a group of people on a sidewalk because the wheel was nearly impossible to turn. I was given no warnings or indicators ahead of time. I now have the "Service Power Steering" light on my dash and it is still very difficult to turn my wheel. A reputable mechanic has inspected the issue and has identified that the power steering module is completely malfunctioning and they will need to replace it entirely (quoted $3500.00). I have seen that there was a recall specifically for power steering on 2015 Ram 1500's, but Fiat/Chrysler has advised that my VIN does not qualify for the recall. This sudden failure on the power steering is extremely dangerous and could cause loss of the life to drivers, passengers, or bystanders. Please urge Fiat/Chrysler to issue a recall on all 2015 Ram 1500's!
