I previously sent a complaint regarding my vehicles CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. I took it to a dealership and I now have to wait for the part to be ordered! Then it is going to be about 2 weeks before it can be repaired! I was told by the dealership that this part had been on a recall list! So I feel someone should be responsible for fixing and paying for this repair! Approximately $1000! I bought the truck used so therefore the dealer I bought it from should have known this! Right?! HOLZHAUERS MOTORS..NASHVILLE ILLINOIS My truck is being repaired by ABSHER ARNOLD MOTORS MARION ILLINOIS NOW. This is close to where I now live. While driving my vehicle seemed to downshift (best way I can describe it) and then I had a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT come on and another type of warning light came on. I was able to get it to a place that put a tester on it and I got a DIAGNOSTIC CODE P0336. REPLACE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. I had to drive it home but it wasn't running right and is hard to start now. I have only had this truck since Dec. 2021 and this makes the 4th sensor that has messed up! I will call a dealer Monday to make a service appointment but I feel I shouldn't have to pay for this! Luckily I was able to drive it home. Can you help me? Thank you. Hello, I have a Ram equipped with the Air Ride Suspension. It has been a long on going problem for me. It has been a safety concern as it involves with the Suspension of the vehicle and at random moments the front end of the truck will drop all the way down to the bump stops making it impossible to drive or steer. I have noticed I am not the only one and that plenty of other people have delt with this issue as well.
