2022 RAM 1500 Complaints

I was leaving work driving 50 mph when the right side suspension broke loose and the right front tire and wheel came under the truck and all and the break system failed with no indication of anything being wrong.

The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal odor inside the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the odor was like antifreeze. The contact attempted to locate and stop the leak using online fixes, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with heater core failure. The contact was informed that the heater core needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that after researching, the contact became aware that the failure was a known failure with similar vehicles. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 107,000.

The vehicle shut down and set the emergency parking brake while the vehicle was in motion at a rate of less than 15 mph. This has occurred 5 times. The first time it occurred the dealership said that it just required a software update. Every instance the vehicle was under 15 mph, and in the process of turning onto a road. There were no indications that this was going to happen before it occurred

Folded down the drivers side sun visor and it fell from the roof and was hanging by the wires that control the garage door opener. I could not see the road in front of me and had to pull over and push the stem back up in the bracket and leave it in the up position for it to stay in place.

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the Check Engine warning light illuminated, and the engine failed, causing the vehicle to become inoperable. The vehicle was able to restart and was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed with fuel injector failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 44,000.

*Fuel system stopped working. * About to jump on I95 and ended on the vehicle. Vehicle inoperable. *it's being inspected by dealer, however wont give me details. *No warnings, or codes..

My electronic steering system is acting up, sometimes it is very hard to steer the truck, there are no lights on or warnings. I understand that a lot of ram 1500 trucks have this same safety issue!

During the collision, the vehicle experienced a catastrophic component failure, specifically involving break intervention by ESP and the electronic stability control working correctly with the wheel speeds and impact of the top of the cab.

Electronic stability control and brake light came on and also brakes are now failing.

Radio failure, radio cutting out when music is turn up, safety related because there could be something shorting out and become a fire hazard, dealership and star team can fix and told there nothing they can do for and costumers service didn’t help either. Radio been replace and the amp, no warning lights at all, dealership sent me away and there was no sounding coming out the speaker, they seen the radio having problems
