2022 TESLA MODEL Y Complaints

Summon feature has never worked properly and has always tried to crash itself into cars next to it or drive the wrong way down the parking lot with no one inside. I have several videos of the car trying to crash itself after driving less than 4ft out of a parking spot at Walmart. Couldn't even make it 100ft to the shopping cart deposit. You cant summon and record at the same time with your phone so when it failed I switched to record. Before that car was driving itself up the sidewalk towards the entrance of the building where people were entering and exiting, thank goodness for the concrete pilons. This car is worse than a piece of garbage its an intentional death trap and liability on wheels. I feel like they're trying to murder me for reporting them. I am in fear for my life. I am still censored online and just an hour ago I had a US Government vehicle just about rear end me at 30mph+ over the speed limit. I have it on dashcam. Then they just followed me thru traffic for the next ten minutes. This is rackateering and fascism. Everyone said Hitler was a great guy and ignored all the people he was killing for personal gain. How is this any different than Tesla and the US Government in bed together passing each other tax incentives and sales contracts like its sugar free candy while silencing and trying to kill and smear whistleblowers like me. I am beyond repulsed that the NHTSA has allowed this vehicle to still be on the road driving Uber and Lyft customers around. But that's what they want, a witness like me earning less than minimum wage while his car tries to kill him and any crack head can just get in my car and shoot me in the back of the head so I can't testify. What's stopping Blackrock or Ark financial from jumping on the dark web and hiring a crackhead hitman? Wouldn't be the first time a crackhead got in my Uber and kept dropping his gun. Car randomly braking at highway speeds making it dangerous for vehicles traveling behind us. Will randomly brake on a clear day - no hazardous weather or road constructions. Car will have no warning prior to aggressive braking causing confusion and anxiety to the driver and passenger(s). We thought braking was because of rolling hills but it seems to also do it on flat roads.

Driving in northeast Colorado on I-76 both when traveling east ( on 4/27/23) and west (on 5/1/23). Severe phantom braking with speed dropping 10-15 mph in an instant and objects in the car flying forward as a result. No specific hazards were obvious. These occurred while traveling to and from Haxtun, CO from Lakewood, CO. I am concerned that the car braking in such a severe manner could lead to a collision with vehicles behind me.

We were driving down I-5 and the highway was clear ahead of us and we were driving with adaptive cruise control. The Tesla suddenly applied harsh brakes without anything ahead of us

Within the last week, while driving cross-country on Interstate highways at speeds of 65-75 MPH, car repeatedly (estimate 10-15 times over 1800 miles) experienced “phantom braking,” automatically engaging the brakes in the absence of any sort of hazard whatsoever (no cars or other objects nearby, fortunately; clear, sunny weather). This occurred when Full Self-Driving was engaged and also when cruise control without FSD was engaged.

Recall No. 23V-085 weeks ago, my car is currently stuck on an old software version (2022.44.30.10) and is not receiving OTA updates from Tesla. I've contacted Tesla's service center and their customer support line multiple times. They've instructed me to email an address ([email protected]) to be removed from the FSD Beta program which I have done 5+ times. I believe this to be an unreasonable amount of time for them to remedy what should be something simple, and think they should be held accountable for continuing to violate the safety recall violation.

Phantom breaking on autopilot. Car experienced sudden breaking from approximately 80mph to 30 mph.

The car experiences phantom braking very often. a 3-1/2 hour drive this weekend probably happened 8-10 times. Sometimes brakes very hard at speeds of around 70 MPH

Passenger side rear seatbelt has a faulty latch. Latch will disengage spontaneously. Passenger rear seat belt disengaged. Child safety car seat tipped over. Child encountered minor injuries.

The contact owns a 2022 Tesla Model Y. The contact stated while driving 45-50 MPH, a vehicle at a 28 ft. distance from him slammed on the brakes. The contact then depressed the brake pedal but the vehicle failed to respond and crashed into the rear of the other occupied vehicle. The forward collision sensor warning light then illuminated. The air bags did not deploy. There were no injuries sustained. There was no police report filed. The contact was able to continue driving. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.
