    - Mims, FL

    While traveling on I 87 in New York, the factory-installed receiver hitch broke off allowing my vehicle being towed to separate from my RV causing extensive damage to my 2019 GMC Acadia. This could have been catastrophic if the car had hit other vehicles on this heavily traveled road. There was no visible sign of cracking or metal fatigue prior to the separation. This is not the first time that a tow hitch has separated from a Thor RV.
