The recall listed under Tiffin-142, involves the sub-frame truss collapse that could cause a fire. The NHTSA RECALL # 24V-669. Tiffin has failed to instruct or direct a direct link to an engineer for advise. Tiffin made arrangements with Rush Truck Leasing Company, Phoenix Arizona, to make the repairs, and it now sits for three days with no specific direction to repair. I have an interesting issue. Driving down the road and the buttons on the steering wheel stop working. I pull over turn the RV off, wait a minute then turn the RV on and the buttons now work. The dealer has already replaced the module controlling the buttons.

2023 TIFFIN ALLEGRO OPEN ROAD- Naples, FL
The four slides are powered by Lippert hydraulics. These slides malfunction and drift out on their own without any warning. This obviously poses a danger while the vehicle is being driven as well as when it is parked. Many people have had "repairs" completed by Lippert multiple times without a permanent fix since the slide drift recurs. We are personally currently awaiting repair by Lippert. However, as stated, a permanent solution has apparently not been instituted since virtually all parties report recurrent slide drift after "repair". Since Lippert assigns a case number and attempts fixes, the company is aware. Tiffin is also aware and refers owners to Lippert. Please link to NHTSA Campaign number 22V273000. It is imperative that a permanent solution be instituted as quickly as possible for all affected vehicles due to the obvious dangers drifting slides can cause.

2023 TIFFIN ALLEGRO BAY- Green Bay, WI
Shortly following delivery of the motorhome, there appeared a catastrophic crack in the fiberglass on the leading side of the overhead bunk (driver's side). Left unresolved, the primary safety concern is that the crack will expand and, while traveling (especially at higher speed), the top portion of the overhead bunk will separate from the motorhome - putting motorists traveling behind, and anyone then in the overhead bunk, at risk. The motorhome has been inspected by an independent I-CAR Gold Class repair professional and remains available for inspection upon request.

Tiffin issued the following recall for some models of their Allegro motorhomes. https://www.usatoday.com/recalls/automotive/NHTSA-22V273000/#:~:text=Tiffin%20Motorhomes%2C%20Inc.,seals%20in%20the%20hydraulic%20cylinders. The model I have is not included in the recall, but I am experiences the same problem, the slide-out extends while parked (or possibly while moving). I brought the unit in for repairs in May 2023 and picked the unit up in September 2023. Poulsbo RV confirmed the slide-out extends when parked, as it occurred on their lot as well. Poulsbo RV was in communication with Tiffin and Lippert regarding the issue. They claimed to have made appropriate repairs, and the work order shows that a solenoid failed and was replaced. Since the repair in September, the slide-out has extended twice while parked.
