The rear passenger window trim will come loose and could fly off and hit other vehicles. I have brought this back to the dealer twice and they claimed to have replaced it but it is still malfunctioning. Upon MY investigation it seems like the actual door was not hemmed properly thus not allowing the window trim to seat and stay seated. The driver's side rear door does not have this issue. Furthermore, I have checked new vehicles in the dealer's inventory and found the same issue on multiple NEW vehicles at North Park Toyota in San Antonnio, TX.

My truck engine was stalled shortly couple times on me. 1- When I try to turn right to get out of my sub division in the morning, my truck stalled. I released the gas paddle and step on it again and this time the truck is going ok. Luckily the coming car be able to stop before hitting my truck. 2- One time I went out for lunch with a friend, when we got back to the company's parking lot, I tried to back up the truck and the truck one stalled. I released the gas paddle and step on it again and it is ok. My friend thought it may be the rain outside.

The contact owned a 2023 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed he began to lose control of the vehicle in which he stated the vehicle would swerve uncontrollably. On numerous occasions when I am at a stop sign leaving work and trying to accelerate onto the 4 line highway my vehicle acceleration has a delay in it causing me to not properly accelerate into traffic almost causing me to get hit on numerous occasions. I have complained about this situation to the dealer and was told once that it was normal for the delay and once that it is just a V6 engine so that is why the delay. I am sure that I am not the only person having this issue is a problem and will be the result of many accidents if not addressed.

Pulling into traffic from a stop or near stop (such as a stop sign or yield sign), the vehicle does not respond to the gas pedal. After significant lag / hesitation, the vehicle lurches forward. This has happened multiple times starting around September 2023, and the problem is worse when the engine is cold (cold mornings) although it happens at all times to some extent. It seems to have gotten worst and happens almost daily at this point. There have been several times that the lag / hesitation has left me sitting in the middle of an intersection and almost caused me to be hit by other vehicles. I have had the vehicle in to the dealer 5 times for this issue and have been told it’s “normal” or they cannot replicate it. On the 5th time, Toyota corporate sent a representative Anthony Merejo, who verified in email that he experienced the hesitation and was sending the data back to Toyota engineering to see if there was a fix. That was about 6 weeks ago and I haven’t heard back.

Lag in acceleration. Press the accelerator and vehicle takes a few seconds to respond. Trying to right turn on intersection and due to acceleration lag almost got hit by another vehicle. The accelerator should respond immediately when pressed just like it does on all the other vehicles I have driven. This has happened on multiple occasions with this vehicle.

The engine has rough idle, the dealership says they see a misfire and they say is normal for the vehicle to do this, is a brand new vehicle I bought with 9 miles im at 14 thousands now, and the truck has died using the 4wd and completely turned off, i took it to the dealership and they said the same like the engine, they cleared codes and thats all, i dont trust this vehicle i left it stranded on the sand once and the recalls they dont have solutions for any of them, toyota is neglecting customers now.
