While driving the RV at highway speeds, I noticed a lot of vibration and shaking. I pulled into a tire store to have the tires balanced. They found the left front tire (hankook dynapro ht 205/75/r16) with tread separation. I had it replaced with the spare. I had 27,400 miles on the tire with 7 32nds of tread left.

On [XXX] while driving my 2025 Winnebago Ekko 23B at elevations between 5,000 and 6,000 feet, the vehicle repeatedly lost engine power and stalled under specific conditions, creating a significant safety hazard. The issue occurred when the house batteries were below 100% charge, the engine was at idle or low RPM (below 1,250), and the secondary alternator began charging the Lithionics battery system, causing RPMs to drop below 500, complete loss of propulsion (unable to move forward or reverse), and occasional activation of the check engine light with codes P0506, P3002E6, and P30059B. This happened four times, including twice when attempting to pull out from stops, which could have resulted in a collision if traffic had been present—imagine suddenly stalling in an intersection with family aboard. The problem resolved at lower elevations (below 2,000 feet) or when maintaining higher RPMs before charging initiated, but it was reproducible every time the conditions were met at altitude. Despite diagnostics at a Mercedes-Benz dealership , where systems were cleared and no faults found (suspecting the Winnebago-installed secondary alternator), and repairs at the Winnebago Factory Service Center in Forest City, IA , where the Wakespeed regulator was unnecessarily replaced and the issue blamed on Mercedes (suggesting an unsubstantiated "learning mode" at elevation), the root cause remains unaddressed. This defect, reported by multiple other Ekko owners in online forums and directly to Winnebago, violates Mercedes upfitting guidelines against drawing alternator power below 1,200 RPM and poses an ongoing risk of sudden power loss in traffic or on highways. The front driver side tire (Hankook Dynapro HT 205/75R16) on our RV suddenly caused a wobbly ride while driving. Upon close inspection we noticed a bulge which had formed on the tread of the tire. We then noticed a large part of the side wall and tread to start separating on the inside of the tire. A technician at the tire store advised us to replace the tire immediately.

Blind spot monitoring system has failed again after being replaced on a previous winnebago ekko recall. This safety feature no longer available for use No warning messages or symptoms prior to the failure

the hood bracket glue failed and the hood bracket was detached. The vehicle was unsafe to drive but need to be moved from a gas station. More damage was done during the move. We have not had a dealer or inspector looking at the vehicle. There were no warning messages of the problem failure. This failure has been reported on other Winnebago Sightseers on other websites. There is a recall for the year 2014-2023 but not for the 2013 Winnebago as yet.

Coach door hinge (strut) came loose on a trip from OH to main in 2023. (Wind and rain was penetrating into the coach). We feared that the door would completely blow open. We called a roadside repairman who tightened it but could not repair the strut or make the seal tight. Once returned to Ohio we took it to have it repaired- some adjustments were made however the door continues to loosen with use. Seal and strut were not working as they should. However, due to job transfer, we had to drive the RV across country from CA to OH in 2024. Due to health issues the RV has been in storage until a month ago. We then took our RV to Mesa RV in Davis, CA-Their suggested solution is that we slam the door to get a seal. We still have an ongoing concern that this may be a hazard if the door comes off while driving, as using it causes the door to rattle and loosen more. This same door also had a window recall which is not related. We feel like we are out of options.

RE: NHTSA recalls 22V-696 and 23V-62 While parked at a State Camp Ground the Carefree Awning opened violently. If someone had been standing outside near the Van they surely would have bee hit/injured. Conditions; Sunny afternoon, no Wind, Flat surface. I am the 2nd Owner of the Winnebago Travato Camper Van. Through my own research prior to buying the Van I was aware that there had been issues with the Carefree Awnings. The Seller of my Van completed the recalls with repairs at the dealership where the Van was purchased. I am concerned that the issue does not seem to be completely resolved. I contacted Winnebago and La Mesa RV in the Phoenix AZ area for assistance. La Mesa RV replied directing me to Contact Winnebago.....no response yet. I am hoping that this report will further the investigation as to why Winnebago has not simply replaced the defective awnings with a comparable and SAFE product.

May 24,2025 as we were driving, the awning completely deployed out causing us to quickly drive on a safer lane to the side to avoid any risk to other drivers. This is definitely a safety risk for travel that can put ourselves and others at harm or crash collision. There were no prior warning whatsoever on our dash board or driver console at all during this incident.

We have four issues needing resolution. 1-The front bumper paint is peeling. 2- The side entry door doesn’t have a stop mechanism. The door flew open and bent the connector at the top. We called for roadside help and attempted repair in Maine- it did not work. As a result we drove it to California, with a whistling door, and had another attempted repair in Sacramento Le Mesa RV-the repair is a sloppy fix and it is still bent. Wind no longer whistles through the door. 3- There is lifting on the countertop in kitchen area 4- the kitchen and bathroom have peeling veneer. This RV has been gently used and very low mileage.

Tire sidewall separated from the rim without any incident trauma. There have been a number of reports of Dynapro AT2 tire failures on Winnebago EKKO. The temperature of the tire was alerted to be high just before the failure. I was able to be parked immediately upon that TPMs warning so an accident was avoided. The tire is a Hankook Dynapro AT2 Xtreme 215/85R/16. All tires were properly inflated and recorded correct PSI and temperatures on my TPMS before driving the 100 miles before the tire failure occurred. Outside temperatures were in the low 60s with some light rain intermittent. This was a highway drive, no back roads. NH to MA on major roadways.
