The Vehicle has a lack of power in electric mode and stalls when the engine turns on to run on gas power. This is causing merging issues or ramping up to speed to enter the highway. When trying to quickly turn or avoid being hit by an oncoming traffic when you floor the accelerator, it lags and doesn’t engage power to quickly move out of the way. You have to be in gas mode for a quick response. This happens all the time.

    - Spring Hill, FL

Vehicle: 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV VIN: [XXX] Engine: 6.2L V8 L86 Mileage: Less than 59,000 miles I am reporting a serious premature engine failure involving the 6.2L L86 engine in my 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The vehicle has been properly maintained with regular oil changes and routine service. On September 8, 2026, the vehicle developed a chirping sound during startup. After driving, the chirping stopped, but a ticking noise occurred when the vehicle was restarted. I immediately had the vehicle evaluated by an independent mechanic. The mechanic kept the vehicle for two nights so that a cold-start evaluation could be performed. On September 10, I was informed that the engine noise was caused by lifter failure. The vehicle was then towed to a Cadillac dealership in [XXX]. On XXX, the Cadillac dealership diagnosed lifter failure and camshaft damage. The vehicle had not experienced a loss of oil pressure, noticeable loss of power, hesitation, or other significant warning symptoms before the failure. I am concerned because General Motors has issued technical service bulletins addressing lifter failures and ticking noises involving the 6.2L L86 engine and the Cadillac Escalade, including GM bulletin 15-06-01-002 and GM bulletin 19-NA-218. The vehicle has less than 59,000 miles. I am requesting that NHTSA document this engine failure and review whether similar failures involving this engine and vehicle warrant further investigation or action. 68C recall software update has caused some form of loss of power, doesn’t fully power off, it feels as if it is throttling the electric motor causing the engine to suddenly start and rev high (5-7k RPM) bypassing the warm up time that’s built into the software for the engine. Now on 09/14/2026 (Monday) the vehicle through a DTC code “P0BBE-00” High Voltage Battery Voltage Variation. It went into limp mode while attempting to drive up the roll back (flatbed tow truck). Currently awaiting Dealer diagnostic.

After towing module recall completed, the trailer towing light comes On showing up on the dash board in yellow requesting setup, then fades off. Twice happened. Folding mirror required three depressions of folding mirror button to open. Back up camera fails and shows blue screen, no back up image. 5 times since Ownership. Downshift and up shift hard enough and jerky enough to break traction on icy roads in traffic. Winter is coming and this is a genuine safety concern. Pulling into parking spot very slowly truck went into park and applied brakes, no reason for this. Front sensors failed to operate when pull into into another park spot and only worked on restart. Both batteries failed and required replacement under warranty when truck was new with break in type miles. A/C locked up on infotainment center and could not turn off. Required three restarts. Rear view mirror has failed to dim several times. Numerous software issues and electrical. Stellantis should buy these trucks back, fix them right and then sell as used. I would like my hard earned money back on a new truck plagued with issues and is a safety hazard!

There is a definite KNOWN problem with the transmissions in all 2018 Hyundai Tucsons and maybe other model years as well. This is well documented via the Internet by the number of articles concerning this ongoing problem! This problem seems to have been unresolved over a pretty long period of time now! It is most definitely a safety issue and should be addressed. When issue happens it leaves the vehicle at the mercy of surrounding traffic! It definitely requires your consideration and your looking into! Search the internet concerning this transmission failure problem…. Why has this NOT been addressed prior to or long before now?

I am reporting a potential safety defect involving my 2019 Nissan Sentra. In June 2025, when my vehicle had approximately 56,000 miles, the overhead console located in the ceiling of my vehicle suddenly detached and fell while I was driving. The console struck me in the face. This was completely unexpected and created a potentially dangerous situation because I was operating the vehicle at the time. A component falling from the ceiling and striking the driver could cause the driver to become distracted, lose control of the vehicle, or potentially cause a crash. After the incident, I examined the overhead console and found that the components/attachment points that secured the console to the ceiling had broken. The console could not simply be reattached because the pieces that held it in place had broken. I am concerned that this may represent a defect or failure involving the design, materials, or attachment system of the overhead console. I do not believe an overhead component should detach and fall onto the driver during normal operation of a vehicle. The failure has also created a financial concern. Because the overhead console is no longer properly secured, I have attempted to sell or trade the vehicle and have been told by dealerships that the condition significantly reduces the vehicle's value. I have been informed that thousands of dollars may be deducted from the vehicle's value because of this issue. I am requesting that NHTSA document and investigate this complaint to determine whether other 2019 Nissan Sentra vehicles have experienced the same or a similar overhead-console failure and whether this presents a safety defect. I can provide photographs of the broken attachment points and overhead console. 2019 Nissan Sentra Mileage at time of failure: Approximately 56,000 miles Date of failure: June 2025 Safety concern: Overhead console detached while driving and driver was struck in the face

Post the 68c recall the acceleration profile of the vehicle is inconsistent and at times significantly delayed. To the point where when making left hand turns or merging into freeway traffic becomes dangerous. One specific instance while making a left I started to go but the accelerstion was extremely slow. Pressing the pedal nearly all the way down with traffic bearing down in me the enging finally kicked in at nearly full throttle. Causing a very chaotic turn. This is particularly noticeable while driving in electric mode, and usually shows up after driving for a little while. However I have had it happen very shortly after starting a drive. It does seem to be related to either battery or motor temperature, but it is very inconsistent. Typically when it does happen you try to accelerate and the normal response of acceleration doesn't occur. You keep pressing the pedal until it is nearly all the way to floor before the engine kicks in and suddenly is floored and you get more acceleration than you were trying to get. Not necessarily a safety issue, but further evidence that battery or electric power has been restricted. Since the 68c recall my fuel economy has reduced a out 8 mi/gal. I make the same road trips on a regular basis and the same trip prior to the 68c recall I got nearly 100mi more per tank of gas. It seems the battery charging and electric assist has been retarded from the original performance. Again this is more dramatic in all electric and causes precarious situations as described above. There are no warning lights or error messages, the dealer either can't reproduce the issue or calls it normal operation. I have over 90k miles on my vehicle and it is only the 10k or so since the 68c recall that I have noticed this issue. It is not performing "normally".

When attempting to accelerate from a stopped position to enter loop [XXX] in [XXX]. My vehicle experienced total loss of power due to failure of the low pressure fuel pump. This created a very dangerous situation as I was attempting to enter the highway from the access road. This event very nearly resulted in a crash that could have caused serious bodily injury or death to me. The vehicle was taken to the closest Ford dealership, Red McCombs Ford in [XXX]. The incident was described to the service representative and taken in for diagnosis. The next week, the service representative contacted me to tell me that they were able to replicate the issue in testing and that the low pressure fuel pump had experienced mechanical failure. They said, unfortunately Ford does not have an approved remedy available yet. I told them that I was aware that the failed part was indeed available and had found documented cases where Ford had chosen to approve replacing it for individuals experiencing the same problem. It isn’t a case of a replacement part being available, it is a case of Ford not wanting to replace the failed part and instead attempting to find a software fix that allows for preserving the life of the potentially defective part. However, this is not an acceptable solution once the part has already failed. The service representative stated they were trying to get Ford to authorize the repair, since one is available, but Ford was declining because the had not yet announced an “official recall remedy”. Then I opened a case with Ford Customer Care and they too declined to fix the issue. When I relayed my concern that driving the vehicle would expose me to serious injury or death, they continued to decline. I asked if it was safe to drive and they said “Ford has not issued instructions to stop driving”. Ford is refusing to repair a known safety recall where they are aware of a remedy exists.
