CURT ECHO TRAILER BRAKE CONTRO- Poplar Bluff, MO
This brake controller seems to apply full brakes regardless of the settings within the app. I have reinstalled it several times as directed by the manufacturere and each time I get on the road and just barely touch the brakes it locks the trailer brakes. This is dangerous since there is no way to test the system without driving.

CURT ECHO TRAILER BRAKE CONTRO- Portland, OR
Trailer Brake Controller worked fine out of the box, then the 3rd time we used it the controller would apply the trailer brakes abruptly and violently even on the lowest of settings, causing the trailer to skid or bring the vehicle and trailer to an overly abrupt stop at slower speeds, increasing the likelihood of rear end collisions by those travelling behind us. The Manufacturer only offered to replace the unit, not refund, and wouldn't admit there was a problem with many of the units even though a quick search of this Trailer Brake Controller on several RV message boards reports many similar occurrences and some reporting it applies the brakes without input from the driver
