BRIDGESTONE ALL SEASON TIRES Complaints

The contact owns a 2014 Toyota 4Runner. The contact purchased four Bridgestone tires in 2022, Tire Line: Alenza AS Ultra, Tire Size: 245/60/R20, DOT Number: 1RBTEAAU1. The contact stated that all four tires had developed cracks on the sidewalls and by the tire beads. The tires were replacement tires. The tire dealer was contacted and advised the contact that it was normal wear on the tires. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The tire failure mileage was approximately 20,000. The vehicle failure mileage was 80,000.

OEM Tires: 225/55/R18 - Bridgestone Turanza All Season I am writing to raise a formal concern regarding the premature wear of OEM tires installed on my leased 2025 BMW X1. At approximately 15,000 miles, I was advised to replace the tires at 4/32" tread depth, which is significantly below the longevity historically expected of OEM tires. This raises serious concerns around vehicle safety, environmental impact due to early disposal, and the burden placed on consumers. Past OEM tires demonstrated substantially better durability, and I am seeking clarity on what has changed in design, materials, or standards that now allows for reduced tire life. I also request clarification on how this aligns with the safety commitments and environmental responsibility, and whether consumer interests are being adequately considered. Left rear passenger tire failed has a Bubble. 235/50R20. Tire have a manufacturing problem all tires on the vehicle need to be replaced. Costco declined!

235/55R20 102H Tires are Defective Have Bubbles. This is 2nd tire which has a bubble. Costco will not stand behind warranty and replace all the tires!

This complaint is concerning Bridgestone All Season Tire (BL 205/55R 16). I was driving on the road and all of a sudden the steering wheel was moving back and forth and the right front tire was bouncing uncontrollably while was while driving. My car was pulling to the right as I drove, creating a dangerously unstable driving condition, This issue posed a significant risk not only to my safety but also to others on the road, as the inability to control the vehicle could result in an accident. I pulled over, and saw that the tire was not flat. I was two blocks from the sister store in Halladale. I asked for the manager to look at my wheel as it is under warranty. The manager said it was a bubble in the tread of the tire. I asked the manager since this is a manufacturer defect, can I get tire replaced at no charge. He said he would replace it not for free, but he would prorate the tire. He gave me the estimate and I informed him that since I bought the extended warranty, mounting and balancing was supposed to be free of charge. He says he can't honor the warranty. He not only charged me for the mounting and balancing, but charged me for another warranty! (that they won't honor) The warranty was good for 40,000 miles and this tire only had 16,000 so I felt I was treated unfairly, I called Firestone customer complaint line several times and they said the district manager would call me to rectify my issues, but no one ever called me back. I went to another tire shop to purchase another tire. I took pictures of the bubble on the tire.

The Bridgestone AllSeason WeatherPeak 225/50R 18 tire tread was worn out at 15800 miles. Tires were rotated and alignment performed routinely at Firestone. Inflation was checked every two weeks. Many complaints for this issue by other customers. Early tread wear is dangerous and will cause accidents. How could this tire have a 700 tread rating and who is performing the test for the 700 tread rating?

We bought the brand new Lexus (RX450H) back in 2022 (Vin [XXX] ). As of today, February 03, 2025, the mileage on the car is 20,125 miles. The OEM tire size was 235/55R20, all the 4 tires were Bridgestone Ecopia H/L [XXX] . Recently, one of the wheels exploded when it passed a pothole, the tire was damaged and the rim was bent/cracked as well. I brought one tire, same brand and size, and installed it to the new Lexus rim. The installer told me that these tires were "Recalled" and suggested to replace all 4 tires ASAP. My tires were Black when I bought them at Wittlins in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin in 2020. They have been continualy turning brown on the outside of tire. Now they are a beige color on the outside of tire. It seems the tires are aging terribly. I complained to Wittlins a few times about tires discoloration and the manager keeps telling me the tires are wearing fine and said discoloration is normal. Maybe a little discoloration but not like this and I do not even live in a warm climate. 235/50R18/SL (Tires)

There was a slow leak in the left rear tire overnight while the car was parked in driveway. In the morning the low tire pressure indicator light was on in the car. I drove the car to the Honda dealer to fill the tire with air. Overnight while parked in the driveway the tire leaked again and in the morning there was a low tire pressure warning again. I left the car with the Honda dealer and they couldn't find anything after testing the tire so they replaced the vale stem, Schrader valve and tire bead seal. On 2/27/2024 Honda found a pinhole leak in the sidewall of the tire. Honda customer service informed me to contact Bridgestone/Firestone. The tire will be inspected by a Firestone owned tire center and I am waiting to hear the solution Firestone will offer.

The contact stated that while the dealer was conducting a routine inspection of the vehicle, she was informed that the four tires were worn and could soon cause the vehicle to hydroplane while driving. The contact stated that upon visual inspection, she noticed that the tire treads were damaged. The contact stated that the tires were rated at 80,000 miles; however, the tires became worn after 26 miles. The tire dealer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The tires were not replaced. The tires were replacement tires. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The tire failure mileage was approximately 26,000. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 132,940.
