    - Vallejo, CA

The contact owned a 2024 Audi Q4 E-tron. The contact stated upon driving into the parking lot of an occupied charging station at 30-35 MPH and attempting to pull into the charging station, the vehicle accelerated unintendedly and spun several times. The contact stated that she depressed the brake pedal and attempted to steer the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to respond. The contact pressed the Push to Start button to stop the vehicle, but the passenger's side of the vehicle hit and knocked down a small tree, crashed into an embankment, and the vehicle stopped. The air bags did not deploy. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to exit the vehicle. There was no injury sustained. No police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to G & C Auto Body(3440 Stanley Blvd, Pleasanton, CA 94566) to be repaired. The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to tow the vehicle to their location after the body repair because they would need to read the EDR to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired by G & C Auto Body and was deemed a total loss by the insurance company. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.

    - Hendersonville, NC

The rear hatch lid has a mechanism that closes the hatch when foot movement is sensed near the rear bumper. Unfortunately, it sometimes detects foot movement when a person is working on baggage in the luggage area. It then sets off an alarm and attempts to close the hatch on the unsuspecting person. The owner’s manual asserts that there is built-in pinch-protection to stop the hatch and avoid injury if an obstruction is detected. It does not work; the hatch closure can’t be stopped with reasonable force. Two injuries have already occurred. The dealer has said that the pinch-protection cannot be improved, nor can the foot-sensor be desensitized.

Error code for right front side marker light faulty. Light seems to be working. I've had two mechanics look at the car. They can't figure out what's wrong. Error message appears randomly. Brakes are very squeaky. I took the car to Audi and they said it was normal and I should brake more aggressively.

The computer keeps showing that we have a malfunction in the side marker lights. They still work but we get the notice daily. Have taken it to the the dealer and they state that there is a recall but our vin number is not in the listing. There repair cost is over $4000. It's the same problem, my vehicle is in the 2017 Q7 range. Our number needs to be added to the recall of the same problem.
