There is a recall for the year after this when many Audi owners of this model have the same issue per the Audi forums. We have the coolant leaking issue as well and it should have been included in the recall

I keep getting a "Front right side marker light defective." error. There is nothing wrong with the lamp but Audi wants to charge $4,000 to fix. This appears to be happening to other Q7 owners so I am reporting.

The contact owns a 2016 Audi A3. The contact stated that while refueling the vehicle, fuel started leaking from the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle was sputtering while being started. The failure occurred intermittently. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact removed the EVAP hose and became aware that the hose was filled with gasoline. The contact became aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V110000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included. The dealer was contacted and made aware of the failure. The dealer confirmed that there were no recalls on the VIN. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 95,000.

The moonroof leaks during rain or car wash, flooding interior and control panel and interior lights.

Component that failed is a/an electric coolant pump for turbo. Yes, it is available for inspection. Safety was compromised due to increased risk of fire. Yes, the issue has been confirmed by Audi Service Department. Yes the vehicle has been inspected by Manufacturers local service department. Yes, the check engine light and ECU light were illuminated on the dash of vehicle 3 weeks before car was taken in for service.

The contact owns a 2015 Audi R8. The contact stated that the vehicle had been experiencing failures with the engine overheating. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the coolant tank had expanded resulting in thermostat failure. The dealer advised the contact to replace the expansion tank and thermostat to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 48,000.

The Sun roof is leaking into the cabin through the overhead control panel and the driver door.

The contact owns a 2017 Audi Q7. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the low oil level warning light illuminated with a message that the engine was 1-quart low on engine oil. The contact added 1-quart of engine oil. However, after driving 1,000 miles, a message indicated that the engine was 1-quart low on engine oil. The contact became aware that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. The low oil warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 111,000.

I was smelling fuel from my car so stopped to have it checked and was told there is a significant spray of fuel coming from the fuel rail and hitting the electrical wires. I was told that it could go on fire at anytime and the car cannot be driven. Audi has a recall for this exact issue for 2016-2018. This is clearly the same issue but they are not issuing a recall for 2019 models and it’s extremely dangerous.
