The car was driving perfectly fine until last week heading to drop my kids to school and the vehicle stopped on the middle of the street. I had no previous issues or notice. I had multiple warnings on the dashboard and now the car won't crank. I have seen several post with people with this same issue and can't find a clear answer. I’m getting the "front right" "side marker light defective" message and my vehicle’s lamps are appearing normal. Car has never been in an accident and multiple owners are having this issue

The contact owns a 2014 Audi Q5. The contact stated that while driving at 10 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The engine and EPC warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who stated that the failure was due to the timing chain, piston rings, and a hole in the valve. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 73,000.

Two items: 1. Infotainment review camera does not show in a timely fashion. There is an open recall for this but my vehicle is not listed in the campaign. It is unclear why not. The firmware is from march of 2021 for a feb 2022 q3 build. I wish they would fix this. 2. ADAS park assist chimes do NOT always chime when other audi sources are playing. In particular, with Android Auto attached and after a previous phone call ends, park assist chime audio is not played. The graphical indicators may show on the screen. Other audio sources are prioritized such as android audio route guidance, or streaming audio.

Heating/ cooling system is not functioning correctly, continues to get warning meage from car heating/coolant warning, and engine coolant is leaking out

Hi, NHTSA we found our 2017 Audi Q7 the rear suspension coil springs are broken, the vehicle is only 55K miles so far. Everyday normally driving, bring kids to school or go to work. I checked this online, many Audi owner complains about this issues, not just only Q7 models. Please investigate the issue. Audi should recall this parts and give the owner compensation. Right side marker defective keeps coming on when headlight turns on. The light works fine but Audi wants to charge over 4K to replace headlamp. Audi stated it’s tiny bulb on side to fix, I have to replace entire headlamp. This is an electrical issue that lot of Audi Q7 owners have reported and I shouldn’t be liable to fix a defective issue.

In the first 10K miles the motherboard had to be replaced. Then the volume dial twice. Then the fuel sensor broke and because of its placement the entire gas tank had to be replaced. Next up at 45K the Medtronic (brains of the transmission had to be replaced and then the differential was having problems and they were debating working on it. I went to sell it at 48K miles before the warranty expired and during the inspection it was noted the two engine mounts were leaking and needed to be replaced. After I sold it to an Audi dealer, different than the Audi dealer I had purchased the car from and where I had all the warranty work done, I found out the CARFAX report showed NONE of the repairs made by the original Audi dealer to the car. Seems fradulent to me by the original Audi dealership who did all the major repairs.

In five years I have had my windshield chip or crack four times. Replacement is a pain and expensive. It seems the design is far too susceptible to breakage and is unsafe.
