2019 AUDI Q7- CHARLOTTE, NC
My car has experienced unintended automatic emergency braking while driving in active traffic with no obstruction present. This created a serious risk of a rear-end collision from vehicles behind. Prior to this, the car had ongoing alignment and steering issues beginning shortly after purchase. The car consistently pulls while driving and has required multiple repair attempts, including alignments and inspections of steering and suspension components. These repairs have not resolved the issue. The problem appears to be worsening. In addition to the unintended braking, the vehicle intermittently displays safety system warnings related to driver assistance features. The failure involves both mechanical and electronic systems, including steering alignment and automatic emergency braking. It's believed that incorrect alignment or suspension issues may be affecting sensor calibration and causing false collision detection. The car has been inspected multiple times by the dealership, but the issue has not been diagnosed or permanently repaired. The car's unsafe to operate due to unpredictable braking behavior. The warning signs that the car gives are “Traffic jam assist unavailable” and “Safety system malfunction” while driving. These warning messages and system malfunctions have been occurring intermittently since shortly after purchase in early 2025 and were previously reported to the dealership. The warnings continued after the incident and are documented with photos taken the following day. The safety systems appear to be unreliable and malfunctioning in real-time operation.

While driving yesterday, the MMI reset and included the dashboard. The dash completely froze for a couple minutes(including the speedometer), and then the whole system blacked out and restarted. There has been a check engine light on since I got the car in December. Havent been able to get a service appointment with a loaner. Also since new, adaptive cruise control works intermittently with a warning that a door is open(when all doors are completely closed).

The rear view camera is not operating when shifting to reverse. I can demonstrate this malfunction at any time to anyone. Driver is unable to detect short objects or small children directly behind the vehicle. The problem was confirmed by the dealer during a service visit. At that time, the service technician checked power and ground to the control unit and verified good. Attempted calibration for camera, vehicle would not calibrate. The vehicle has not been inspected by any other agencies. There were no warning messages, or lamps or any other symptoms prior to the failure.

Belt Starter Generator failure rendered car undrivable -- power steering failed while in motion. Issue is subject to Class Action Settlement in USDistrict Court, Case # 3:23-cv-02291-RK-RLS. But this should have been a recall because of danger of Injury or Death. A recall would provide notice that the notice of settlement failed to provide. This failure happened to me on March 29, 2026. Dealer is not able to do the repair work in a timely manner.

There is a recall out for “2016 Audi A6 vehicles” the recalls are “fuel system rail” as well as “coolant pump”. Both recalls are vin specific and what I find to be devastating is that both recall risk pertains to possible fire! I have the exact issues with my vehicle I even have the epc light coming on and the code is “fuel rail system” I also have an ongoing issue with my coolant system. I have documentation that I’ve paid out of pocket to take care of these issues, however being that there is no current open recalls under my vin number I do not believe mechanics know exactly what to do to fix the issues. The vehicle is misfiring, shutting off and the EPC code is stating “fuel system rail” along with the coolant leaking. I have a [XXX] daughter and to be such an expensive vehicle, I thought I would feel safe and valued. I’ve worked as a service BDC manager for years and at other dealerships when a situation like this would occur, we still wanted them to bring the vehicle into the dealership and if it was in fact relatable to the recall we would take care of it, regardless to it being “vin specific”. There is a such thing as “silent recall”. I really hope that you all can take this as an emergency case and help with such terrible situation. Thank you so much. 2022 AUDI Q5- Austin, TX
Vehicle: 2022 Audi Q5 VIN: [XXX] Current Mileage: 60,221 DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM: I am filing this complaint regarding a recurring all-wheel-drive (AWD) system defect on my 2022 Audi Q5 that has persisted despite a prior repair performed under the factory warranty. SYMPTOMS: I have been experiencing the following symptoms primarily during tight turns, U-turns, and low-speed maneuvering such as in parking lots: - Jerking and lurching of the vehicle during turns - Grinding and clunking noises from the drivetrain during turns - Vibrations felt through the vehicle during turns - Symptoms occur at both low speeds and highway speeds REPAIR HISTORY: Approximately 1.5 years ago, while my vehicle was still under the Audi factory warranty, I brought my vehicle to an authorized Audi dealership for the exact same symptoms. The dealer performed an AWD fluid drain and refill per Audi Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) #2059057, which specifically addresses AWD clutch noise and vibration during turns on 2021-2023 Audi Q5 models. The dealer indicated the issue was resolved. RECURRENCE: The identical symptoms have since returned. My vehicle is now out of its factory warranty period. The dealer has not provided a permanent fix despite following the manufacturer's own TSB procedure. The repair performed under warranty has clearly failed to resolve the underlying defect. SAFETY CONCERN: The jerking and loss of smooth drivetrain control during turns, particularly at low speeds in parking lots and during U-turns, represents a safety hazard as it affects the driver's ability to maintain predictable vehicle control. This issue is especially dangerous in situations requiring precise maneuvering such as parking, merging, and navigating tight spaces. ADDITIONAL NOTES: - Audi TSB #2059057 acknowledges this as a known defect affecting 2021-2023 Q5 models - The same repair has failed to provide a lasting fix - Multiple owners of 2021-2023 Audi Q5 vehicles have reported identical INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATIO

2024 AUDI Q5 E- Bear, DE
My 2024 Audi Q5 plug-in hybrid (VIN [XXX] ) has twice lost accelerator response when transitioning from battery power to gasoline power. In both events, the warning message displayed was: “Drive system: malfunction! Please contact Service.” In both events, the accelerator stopped responding and normal operation was restored only after the vehicle was stopped and restarted. First incident: On 1/20/2025 at 4:12 PM. The battery level reached zero and the vehicle switched from battery power to gas. The warning message appeared and the accelerator stopped working. We had to leave the highway, stop the vehicle, and restart it before the accelerator worked again. I retained a screenshot of the warning message from this event. Second incident: On 1/31/2026 at 4:26 PM. The battery ran out and the vehicle switched from battery power to gas. The same warning message appeared and the accelerator again stopped working. I was able to pull off at a service area, shut the vehicle off, and restart it. Restarting cleared the warning and restored accelerator function. I retained a photo of the error message and dashcam video showing the vehicle speed and rapid deceleration. I reported this condition to Audi West Chester on 2/12/2025 [XXX] XXX) and again on 2/13/2026 [XXX] ). The dealer was unable to determine the cause or repair the problem. I do not consider the vehicle safe to operate. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2023 AUDI Q8- Coralville, IA
1. The front brake on my 2023 Audi Q8 produce an ear-piercing noise when backing up after the car has set for a period of time. 2. The dealer and manufacture state this is not a safety concern, but rather just an annoying noise I have to put up with. 3/4. This ear-piercing noise has been inspected and confirmed by the dealer, and I have provided several video recordings of the noise to the dealer. 5. There are no warning lamps or messages associated with this noise. The noise started about a year after I purchased the vehicle and that's when I contacted the dealer. I was informed that this is a known problem on many Audi Q7s and Q8s and there is nothing the dealer or manufacture can or will do to resolve the issue.

2025 AUDI Q6 E-TRON- Loxahatchee, FL
The vehicle exhibits multiple critical safety defects that pose a severe risk to my life and the lives of my children. Most notably, the steering system performs sudden, unintended maneuvers and the steering wheel moves with dangerous abruptness without driver input. Additionally, severe electrical failures frequently prevent the doors from opening or the vehicle from powering down, creating a high risk of entrapment. The seat belts frequently jam, making it impossible for passengers to release them in an emergency. Power windows operate spontaneously, and the car often refuses to lock or unlock. This vehicle has been out of service for a total of 63 days across 5 separate repair attempts. As of today, the vehicle has been at the dealership for 8 consecutive days with no updates or progress reports from the manufacturer. Despite these repeated failures and the car being unusable for over two months, Audi refuses to provide a buyback, claiming the vehicle is 'operating as designed.' This is a blatant disregard for public safety, as the vehicle remains unpredictable and prone to total system failure while on the road.

2022 AUDI A5- Easton, PA
I am writing to formally report a serious and ongoing issue with my 2022 Audi A5 involving multiple component failures. Most recently, both front windows suddenly stopped functioning and would not roll up, leaving my vehicle fully exposed. As a result, my car was subjected to rain, causing water intrusion and damage to the interior of the vehicle. This issue is especially concerning given my prior history with this vehicle. Since purchasing the car, the sunroof has already required repair twice within the past two years. Now, I am experiencing a complete failure of both front windows. This pattern of repeated issues raises serious concerns about the overall reliability and quality of the vehicle. I rely on my vehicle daily to transport my children and manage my responsibilities. Due to this failure, my vehicle is currently not secure or usable in normal conditions, which has placed me in a very difficult position. Additionally, I have been informed by an Audi technician that this is a known issue with Audi A5 models. Given that this defect has been acknowledged, it is extremely concerning that no preventative solution or recall has been implemented to protect consumers from this exact situation. This failure is unacceptable in a vehicle at this price point and presents a risk for further damage, including potential electrical issues due to water exposure. I am requesting that Audi of America take full responsibility for this matter and provide coverage for: Repair of the window system Any resulting interior or electrical damage caused by water intrusion A thorough inspection of the vehicle to ensure no additional damage has occurred I would also like this issue formally documented as part of any ongoing investigation into known defects affecting the Audi A5. Please provide a prompt response with next steps toward resolution. I can be reached at your earliest convenience.
