My 2015 Audi A3 was subject to a fuel suction jet pump safety recall. Before the recall repair was available, the vehicle developed a fuel leak and fuel-spilling problem. Audi inspected the vehicle in XXX and documented that its Tech Line advised replacing the fuel tank and all attaching components, with a quoted cost of approximately $5,730. I was unable to afford this repair and questioned why the fuel tank needed replacement. Audi subsequently performed the suction jet pump recall repair in August 2024. However, the fuel problem did not resolve. After the recall repair, I was told the vehicle continued to spill fuel during testing and that the only solution was still replacement of the fuel tank. I was allowed to drive the vehicle home with approximately one gallon of fuel, after which it remained inoperable for approximately two years. In XXX, an independent repair facility inspected the vehicle. The original fuel tank was NOT replaced. Instead, the facility removed the fuel tank to access and replace the suction jet pump and related components. The vehicle was restored to normal operation, and since that repair there have been no fuel leaks, fuel spilling, or related problems. The original factory fuel tank remains installed. The independent repair therefore resolved the same fuel-related problem without replacing the fuel tank that Audi had diagnosed as faulty. The vehicle required numerous tows during the period when I attempted to have the problem diagnosed and repaired. Audi's recall remedy did not resolve the fuel-system safety problem, and the vehicle remained unusable until the suction jet pump was replaced independently. The fuel leak was documented on video: [XXX] Audi inspected the vehicle after the leak occurred. The problem was ultimately corrected only after the suction jet pump was replaced independently, without replacing the original fuel tank. Multiple P029900 codes and check engine lights, coolant loss, coolant leaking and burning smell, loss of power. On the most recent trip to the dealership this problem was diagnosed, and the invoice states recommend replacing vacuum lines, actuators and all affected parts. The dealership will not send in the warranty claim stating there's not enough evidence. This is a known issue with leaking water pumps and coolant ingress into the vacuum system. Why are we still waiting for a recall on these issues? I am the 3rd to report this but would bet the affected number is 1,000 times higher.

Bernardi Audi’s technician confirmed the rear subframe is rotted through (Repair Order #XXX/ Diagnostic Video: [XXX]), making the vehicle unsafe to drive.Given that this structural perforation falls within the window of Audi’s 12-Year Limited Warranty Against Corrosion Perforation, have requested assistance to cover cost from Audi. No responses received to Audi USA from 5 emails sent since XXX. Class Action lawsuit for rotten subframe and danger it creates in process but totally disregarded by Audi. Rear sensors failed for Blind Spot Warning, Parking Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Warning and possibly other safety functions have failed on this car twice now since it was purchased. This is known issue and if the car is out of warranty Audi will not cover this very expensive repair for important safety features. Quote from Go Parts website: "TSB: Rear Parking Sensor Brackets Detaching A widespread known issue for the 2020-2024 Audi Q7 is the failure of the adhesive that holds the rear parking sensor brackets to the inside of the bumper cover. Audi has issued Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 91 24 92 (superseding 91 22 52) to address this problem." Despite Audi being aware of this issue they only issued a TSB when a I feel a recall should have been made. Please issue a recall for this known Audi safety issue..

While pulling into our house/garage to part, the vehicle suddenly accelerated and traveled ~12 feet crashing into and through the wall dividing the garage and the living area.

I own a 2023 Audi e-tron GT Premium Plus, VIN [XXX]. The vehicle was included in NHTSA Recall 24V726 / Audi Recall 931A concerning high-voltage battery modules that may internally short and create a fire risk. Audi previously completed the 931A remedy by installing the advanced HV battery monitoring software. After the recall remedy was completed, the vehicle displayed an Electrical System Malfunction and the Battery Energy Module reported: “Hybrid/high-voltage battery – Cell module 20 faulty.” I have photographic evidence of this fault, although I later cleared the DTC. Audi’s 24V726 documentation states that the final monitoring software is designed to detect future HV battery module anomalies and that affected modules will be replaced when anomalies are identified. I presented the issue to an authorized Audi dealership and requested diagnosis of Module 20 to determine whether it represents the condition associated with Recall 24V726. The dealership refused to evaluate the HV battery because the vehicle has a rebuilt title. I also contacted Audi of America. Audi stated that Recall 931A is already completed because the monitoring software was installed. My concern is not that the software was never installed. My concern is that the vehicle developed a potentially serious HV battery module fault after installation of the recall remedy, and Audi/dealer have not determined whether Module 20 is the battery anomaly the recall monitoring system was designed to detect. I am asking NHTSA to review this as a potential recall-remedy effectiveness and vehicle safety issue, particularly because Recall 24V726 concerns HV battery internal short circuits and fire risk. The contact owns a 2024 Audi A6. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle suddenly came to an abrupt stop. The contact stated that everything turned off except for the instrument panel, which displayed an accident warning light. The vehicle was not in a crash, but all the features became inoperable. The vehicle was able to be restarted and driven. The dealer was notified of the failure and acknowledge the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 34,034.

XXX My wife drive her 2018 audi q5 2.0 on express way with mother([XXX]),the car suddenly stall and lost all power ,because car bcm2 module has suffered liquid damage due to known vehicle design defect, towing to nearest repair shop change new bcm2 module and fix wire spend near $4000.00 dollars . Vehicle had 2000 miles on it when warning messages of Distance warning unavailable and Audi pre sense limited with beeping signal sounding every few miles. The dealership confirmed the issue but only blamed a dirty sensor for the issue.The problem persisted even with cleaned sensor for another 6 thousand miles of driving after which I got an active lane malfunction warning. Since then all the warning messages and beeping stopped, but also the pre sense, and lane monitoring no longer work. Paid extra money for these extra safety features but they are not working.

At approximately 52,000 miles, on August 11,2026 (or earlier), my vehicle developed a coolant leak that was traced to a failed coolant shut off valve. The coolant shut-off valve failure allowed coolant to migrate into the vacuum harness, vacuum reservoir which contaminated the water pump. This resulted in the vacuum system becoming filled with coolant, compromising components that rely on vacuum pressure to function correctly. The combination of these failures — water pump contamination, coolant shut-off valve failure, and a coolant-contaminated vacuum system — points to a defect in the design or manufacturing of these components rather than an isolated or wear-related issue.
