The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. I received a recall notice in June 2023, contacted the local dealer, Donaldson Buick on August 17, 2023. Donaldson Buick, Silsbee, Texas 409-978-8662, told me the recall part was not available. Today, December 20, 2023, I called the Buick Customer Assistance Center, 1-800-521-7300, and spoke with Stephanie in Michigan, again I was told the part was not available. I am [XXX] of age and fear the danger concerning this recall. The Air-Bag if ruptured may cause metal fragments to pass through into the vehicle, which may result in injury or death. Driver side HID headlight filling with condensation on lens and water collecting inside the headlight capsule where the wiring for the bulbs and ballast run through. Daytime running light now out and potential loss of headlight use is foreseen.

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the contact was advised to take the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 127,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Please do more to have this company fix their recall. I can't believe more is not being done.

I started the Encore and dash flashed.Sevivice side detection system.Now the small lights on mirros dont show any more.It just happend today 12/17/2024 .I hope I dont have other issues with this vehicle. I would hate too use the lemon or too have to trade this in. Thank You

This is the second time my brake line has cracked and started leaking brake fluid without any warnings from my dashboard that my brake fluid was low. First time was [XXX] and this time is [XXX] it's only a matter of time before the back ones fail. I hope and pray that I don't be driving cause I don't want to hurt anyone or myself. General motors knows about this problem on the 2016 Buick envision but my vin don't fall under the recall. They only recalled three hundred and something vehicle for this problem out of all the suv they have manufactured. I am not sure if any of the other vehicles in the Gm family is affected by this but in my opinion all of these [XXX] China built vehicle should be recalled for as something as brakes lines defects. I would say put an after market one on your vehicle they may be safer but I am not sure. I will never ever buy another General motors vehicle. They don't care about humans life. Who ever reads this I hope you get your vehicle checked or switch out your brake lines with another brand don't use AC Delco at all. Cheap [XXX] parts. First time my vehicle had only 50000 miles I will stick to ford vehicle their parts lasted on my car for almost 200000 thousand miles and my brake lines or clippers never failed. If it wasn't for someone crashing into and totalling my vehicle ain't no telling how long it would have lasted. It had 201000 miles never no engine or transmission problems at all. It was built ford tough. Also my coolant temperature sensor went out at about 45000 miles never had that problem on my 2011 ford fusion at all still had the original one on it and worked fine. A known defect that was previously addressed in a previous recall on the 2019 model year is still occurring on 2022 Buick Enclaves with no repair offered by GM. The defect causes a large hole to form in the exhaust pipe between the exhaust manifold and the muffler which could leak Carbon Monoxide into the passenger compartment and cause decreased engine performance. In the attached pictures the defect hole noted in the recall exactly matches the hole in the 2 pictures of the underside of my car in the exact same spot is the previous recall identified. It’s obvious that GM is still producing defective components and parts and placing them on their vehicles after a recall had caused repairs to previous model years.

The headlights on our 2023 Buick Enclave do not provide nearly enough light at night. If you shine the lights up against a wall at night they seem bright but they do not seem to light up the area directly in front of the car. When driving on a road without streetlights at night I barely feel like my headlights are on. It’s so bad that I am concerned that if a person or an animal stepped out in front of my car I wouldn’t be able to see it in time to avoid it. I brought the car into the dealer today and they actually found that both headlights need to be raised 11-12 inches (they were completely shocked). This is very odd for a new car with only 5k miles. Unfortunately, raising the headlight did not add more light in front of the car at night. I think the issue is caused by the headlights not only being very small but also because they are very low on the car. Also, the headlights are below the grill and the running lights are on the hood. I believe this could be a design flaw that is also a safety hazard. A mechanic at the dealer also agreed with me that in general the lights are very dim. If you drive this model car at night on a road with no street lights I bet you will come to the same conclusion. Attached is the invoice from today that shows the headlights had to be raised. I told the dealer that they should pull another enclave off their lot and see if the issue is only present in my car or if the headlights on other enclaves need to be raised.
