The driver headlight assembly has water in it and unable to fix it without replacing whole assembly that can be as much as $1500. The light bulb and valance was replaced. The valance was filled with water. The headlight still wouldn’t work. Upon further investigation there is a part sealed into the assembly that also has water in it with no way to get it out or replace. This is a safety risk since i am unable to see on driver side in dark without my light. There are no recalls but have found many complaints on same issue. The part water is in is sealed and shouldn’t have a way for to get in. The only fix is replacing entire assembly. I have no light at all on that side until fixed.

Catastrophic control arm failure. The part is available for inspection. Problem confirmed by certified technician at Brake Master repair shop in Santa Fe NM. No visible damage to control arm prior to catastrophic part failure from apparent metal fatigue. Only 37,000 miles on this 2019 Encore. There were no indications of this problem prior to the part failure. The vehicle began making a loud clunking noise and heavy physical clunk when the brakes were applied. Because of the possible safety concerns I had the vehicle towed to the Brake Master facility. Upon inspection the control arm was seen to be broken in two. I took the problem part to the Octane GMC/Buick dealership in Santa Fe where the vehicle was purchased new and showed the part to one of the mechanics who informed me that he had seen this happen before. As this is a relatively small dealership I thought that it was significant that this mechanic had seen this failure previously. Got me wondering if GM is having this problem not only with the Buick Encore but possibly with its twin in the Chevrolet product line. Repair estimate from Brake Master [XXX], $634.91. Service advisor 3717-Caesar Sanchez Description of damage: Front Right control arm broken-ripped apart. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I originally did front end collision repairs on this GM vehicle and I had to originally replace the front passenger seatbelt. I went through 3 apparent good used ones for replacement and all of them have had their fair share of difference from acting up. One of them seemed to work but every now and then the airbag light would come on due to seatbelt. Replaced it with another and frequently the airbag light would come off and on than the last one installed. The 3rd replacement seems to work but airbag light would come on again, not as frequent and would only shut off if seatbelt is pulled and retracted purposely by hand. I am not seeing a short or a wire problem but the seatbelt is not working properly and I believe GM has failed to produce quality front passenger seatbelts. Even all three of the seatbelt would not fully retract on their own without pushing it in by hand.

Purchased new in March 2023 -Repair Safety Restraint System failed (alert signal) failed late June 2023. Inspected at the Dealer/mechanic on July 11 2023, and it was determined the Safety Restraint System panel was defective. Part ordered late June early July 2023 (estimate). Part was backordered and not available for installation August 31 2023. Service department failed to notify me that the part was in. I had to call them. Appointment was set for Replacement part to be installed on September 6 2023. In the meantime a new alert appeared (Check engine light). I notified the service department of the new issue (check engine ) and the need for them to inspect that. The vehicle was due for an oil change and rotation as well. Service department determined that the engine failure resulting in the (check engine light) was due to a defective fuel pump/injection system. Part ordered and an appointment was set. Replacement part was installed on September 12 2023. Literally three days later, after the fuel pump/injection was replaced, another alert appeared (check engine light). September 15, 2023. This particular vehicle has major issues and I am contacting the dealer for a complete buy back and/or replacement vehicle. My safety and the safety of my passengers was at risk from the first minute the restraint system failure signaled. The part was backordered for a long while. I had no other form of transportation. The dealership did not offer a loaner vehicle or to pay for a rental car, nothing. In fact they did not seem concerned at all. Not concerned enough for the service department to place follow up phone calls to me with status updates over the many weeks I waited for the part to arrive. The car obviously has electrical and fuel injection issues straight from the manufacturing floor (which according to reports Buick is aware of). Ref. Edmunds and NHTSA reports. There are a host of reasons why my safety was at risk during the few mo of ownership.

If you look up the GM Recall and the Vin# of my car, you will know that I am writing to you because I received the notice about my 2014 Buick Enclave has a Safety Recall. My name is [XXX] and I am very concerned about all of this. I called my car dealer today after I read the letter, and basically which Im sure you already know that there are no parts available to fix this problem. A problem that could mean life or death. In you Important safety recall dated June of 2023 you stipulate this too, "in these vehices, the front-driver airbag inflator may contain supplier manufacturing defect that may result in inflator rupture during deployment. An inflator rupture may cause metal fragments to pass through the airbag and into the vehicle interior, which may result in injury or death to vehicle occupants" That would be me, or my family or my grandchildren. So I called my Buick dealer and they were very nice, but they did not know about the paragraph that I stipulated above, because they said it doesnt say that. Well it does and they seemed surprise about this. I am concerned this could kill me or someone I love and you dont have any parts, or you dont know when anything will be done to fix it, or what I should do. But you know that it could kill me or some one in my family. What kinda of answer is that? I am afraid to drive my car, what am I suppose to do about that. How do I get to work, how do I live, how do I get to go see my grandkids or go to the doctor, or anything for that matter. You said it yourself "may result in injury or death to vehicle occupants" So what are we suppose to do, there are all these people that are in the same boat as me. Do you drive your car and get a chance to be killed or do you not and then how are we suppose to go on with our lives. You need to address this matter NOW before some one does die. Then what will you do? It will be the biggest law suit ever. I need to hear from you and soon. I am worried, scared, if you don't understand and not just for me but for all those people who are d
