In reverse infotainment display instead of showing backup cameras, shows a blue screen with a camera error msg. Has occurred since vehicle was new. As it becomes more frequent, we've taken it to the dealer and they serviced it (keeping the car for 2 weeks each time). Upon return it does it occasionally again. Ongoing for 3+ years with no resolution.

The contact owns a 2023 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 MPH, the vehicle stalled. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that a software update was needed. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and it was determined that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 700.

The contact owns a 2022 Cadillac XT6. The contact stated while reversing out of a parking spot, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was not drivable. The contact towed the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the fuel pump module to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 23,000.

The trunk closes on its own at all times. I was vacuuming on the back door area behind the driver’s side and the trunk closed and opened twice. Then I was vacuuming my trunk space and the trunk closed twice automatically once hitting me in the head and doesn’t have a sensor that senses a body or something or someone there. This is a very dangerous flaw and needs to be corrected before someone is killed by this!!!

The cue screen will not work to raise up the screen to view there is no backup camera to view because of screen not popping up and or no sensors warnings working causing animals and, people or objects not to be seen when backing up. Also back lift gate will no close to latch down and lock, causing liftgate to open while operating the vehicle on open road

I was pulling forward in a parking garage and it nearly pinned a pedestrian into a parked car. The brakes didn't respond as normal. I had to put most of my weight on the pedal to bring the car to a stop. It was really scary. I took it to the dealer and they said it is a known issue covered under warranty and has to do with a vacuum pump used in the electronic brake system. I thought this was reckless and it should be fixed and not wait until a serious incident. The service advisor [XXX] from Tom Kelly Cadillac, Fort Wayne, IN) even commented that it scared him the first time he drove a customer's car with this issue. He was shocked how hard it was to stop. If this hasn't already, it will cost someone their life. Please help!!! I don't want someone to die for a known issue. When in reverse abrupt automatic braking occurs. Safety hazard with abrupt stop around other vehicles, hard braking causes driver and passenger to pitch forward. No warning. Automatic Braking disabled, sensors checked, settings adjusted by dealer. Dealer says there is nothing they can do. General Motors contacted but no action taken to date.

Low beam headlights work appropriately for 5 or so minutes before "drooping" or "sagging" so that they only illuminate one car length or so in front of the vehicle. Upon shutting off and restarting the vehicle, the lights return to correct illumination. However, they somehow droop again and within 5-10 minutes, it is not safe to drive the vehicle on low-beam headlights. It is the equivalent of having only fog lights on. I NEVER GOT A RECALL ON THE LIGHT REPAIR. HAS MOISTURE IN HEADLIGHT. YOU CAN NOT SEE AT NIGHT. LIGHTS ARE VERY LOW LIGHTING. IT IS A SAFETY RISK. GOING TO CHURCH AT NIGHT IS IMPOSSIBLE. YOU CANNOT SEE OUT AHEAD. TRYING TO WATCH FOR DEER. I GOT ONE LIGHT FIXED FEW YEARS AGO. I CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER. IS THERE A RECALL. THE PICTURE LOADED IS WHAT LIGHT LOOKS LIKE ON DRIVERS SIDE. I bought cadillac XT6 four months ago . Last week i noticed that car steering lock when turning right on highway over 25mph. I went to the empire cadillac of long island city (NY). Mechanic took test drive with me and even he noticed that there is some problem. After keeping my car 2 days they said they did not find anything. I ask them to change the steering motor but mechanic said they know better than me. I picked up my car and same problem is there. Locking steering on highway is very dangerous. Please help
