2012 CADILLAC SRX- Wheeling, IL
The front low beam headlights are very dim, due to a leakage defect in the headlight housing. (I have been told that is the reason for the defect by a Cadillac dealership) I feel that it is dangerous for me (I am 78 years old) to drive at night with this situation. There are many other complaints about this same problem as reported on The Cadillac Forum website. I don't know if there has ever been a recall concerning this issue. I purchased the auto in Aug. of 2022. It seems to me that there definitely should be a recall addressing this, with Cadillac making the necessary arrangements to fix the problem. I do not want the new recall part to be the same as the defective part, and have the issue happen again. Thank you. 2007 CADILLAC DTS- Knoxville , TN
We purchased this vehicle four months ago and love it except for: 1)There seems to be some kind of tint on the rear view mirror which makes it very hard to see other vehicles at night, especially at dusk before some drivers turn their headlights on. We know to be very careful, but there is a very high risk for an accident. 2)Exhaust fumes enter the vehicle when stopped while the engine is running, made worse by the fact that the vehicle automatically resets to let outside air in even if we push the button to recirculate the inside air. I can’t imagine that this is healthy for anyone: I’ve had to use my inhaler more often. The situation could be life-threatening for some if one had to sit in traffic for an extended period of time.

2023 CADILLAC XT6- MIDDLEBURG, FL
My wife was backing at less than 2 and hit a truck behind her. She said no alarms sounded, the only thing she heard was noise of hitting a truck behind her. No police called or report made. When car was repaired the repair shop (Fields Collision, Jacksonville FL) they took my 2023 Cadillac to Fields Cadillac for final check out. Fields Cadillac said there were no sensors in rear bumper to alert driver. Fields Cadillac said there is only plugs in rear bumper. I contacted the dealership (DIMMITT Cadillac in Clearwater) where I purchased the vehicle and they say the car was checked out and all sensors were working but on my way home I noticed the blind side warning did not work so I took the car to Fields Cadillac for this to be fixed, so I know the car was not tested. I would like someone from GM look at the warning system and tell me it is safe.

2014 CADILLAC CTS- Roswell, GA
2014 CTS with 53,000 miles. Loud whining noise started in rear of vehicle. Went to the shop and was told that the rear differential is bad. Technician stated that this is a known widespread problem with this model Cadillac. He also stated that there are no parts available and has 9 other customers waiting for the manufacturer to supply the part. He is being told by GM that it could be up to 6 months wait for the parts. Why is there not a recall. I hope that nobody gets seriously injured due to the faulty parts!
