• Rear Differential is malfunctioning and is making a loud roaring,grinding noise. Is available for inspection. • Safety concern is no warning lamps notify you of malfunction and if differential goes out while driving wheels can lock up and increase the chance of a crash, And is a danger to passengers as well. • Called Dealer and was told part was discontinued probably because they know it is a bad part. Was told to rebuild or find a used part from junkyard. 2 independent service centers confirmed differential is malfunctioning. • No warning lamps to notify you , loud roaring,grinding noise can be heard .

Headlights The normal beam headlights are extremely dim, unable to operate the vehicle on the roadway at night. I had the bulbs replaced at an expense of $300 for parts and labor, which did not rectify the issue. The beams remain extremely dim, which is due to the faulty headlight assembly. GM has never acknowledge this issue after 1000's of complaints. GM did refund some owners of SRX 2010-2015 models for replacing the headlight assemblies, but failed to provide any resolution for owners of the 2016 - present models. If the vehicle must be operated at night, the only way to safety proceed is with the high beams, which doesn't provide for a safe environment for the other vehicles on the roadway. This must be addressed by GM, as people are risking their lives and the lives of others on the roadway. There were no prior warnings or indications of headlight failure. I first noticed this issue in 2021 and have been attempting to resolve it with GM since. GM comes across as it is not their problem and that I should get my headlights replaced at my own expense. What they don't understand is the replacement will be the same faulty make/model of the headlight assemblies I have today.

The low beams have gotten so dim that driving at night has become hazardous. Both the passenger and driver side lights are dim but the passenger side is the worst. The problem is internal to the headlamp assembly. Cleaning the outer lens has no effect. The high beams function fine but we can't drive with the high beams all of the time because they blind oncoming drivers. When the lights switch back to low beams, it is almost like switching the lights completely off.

The contact owns a 2015 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while driving at night with the headlights activated, the illumination from the headlights were very dim causing a difficulty with seeing the roadway. The contact also stated that she was unable to view objects unless they were within 10 to 20 feet of the vehicle. The failure almost caused the contact to crash into an outdoor trash can that was on a street curb. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where the failure could not be duplicated. The contact was then made aware that a satisfaction program for the headlights had expired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that the satisfaction program had expired. The approximate failure mileage was 42,400.

The contact owns a 2022 Cadillac XT6. The contact stated that while parking in a parking space with her great nephew in a booster seat on the rear passenger seat, she depressed the brake pedal and shifted into park. However, upon releasing the brake pedal, the vehicle accelerated unintendedly, hit a pole, and crashed into an unoccupied vehicle located on the other side of the pole. The contact stated that upon depressing the brake pedal and shifting into reverse, the vehicle accelerated unintendedly and crashed into an unoccupied vehicle parked behind her vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. The contact and her great-nephew were transported to her residence with the assistance of police patrol. The contact later sought medical assistance and was informed that she had sustained muscle spams from the upper body to the chin and headaches. The contact's great-nephew did not sustain any injuries. A police report was filed. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was towed to the dealer's autobody repair shop, Les Stanford Body Shop (24825 Trowbridge St, Dearborn, MI 48124). The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 5,829.

Was simply driving my normally and out of no where there was a loud pop and driving the car all I heard was a loud grinding noise as I stepped on the gas, and the car would not shift into reverse. No lights or warnings had ever popped up into the dash. Also very strong burning and metal smell came from the car. I have taken the car to an independent repair shop and was determined the rear differential has gone bad. Apparently many other people with similar year vehicles have had the same issues with this make and model of car, to add on another car like mines came into the same shop with the same problem.

The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac DTS. The contact stated the vehicle failed to start as needed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic however, no failure was found. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and no failure was found. An independent mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and stated there was a button on the radio that was stuck, causing the battery power to be drained. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 78,000.

CAUSE = GM CADILLAC SAFETY FRAUD + DEFECTIVE DIFFERENTIAL Thousands of complaints online. GM is only recalling the CTS-V series and no other CTS when its clear and evident that all CTS's 2014-2015 DIFFERENTIALS ARE DEFECTIVE. OWNERS ARE LEFT WITH NO OPTIONS AND VEHICLE OF NO VALUE = COMPLETE LOSS DUE TO GM STOPPING PRODUCTION OF DIFFERENTIAL & PROVIDING NO RECALL. THERE ARE NO DIFFERENTIALS IN THE USA TO REPAIR VEHICLE. EVEN CTS-V TIER THAT IS RECALLED ARE GETTING NO HELP & GM TURNS A BLIND EYE THIS IS CRIMINAL | NO RECALL | NO EQUIVALENT VEHICLE OFFERED FOR TRANSPORTATION COMPLETE LOSS OF INVESTMENT | UPSIDE DOWN ON FINANCES | HARDSHIPS CTS WAS RATED WITH A 5-STAR SAFETY RATING = COMPLETE FRAUD ITS A MAJOR SAFETY VIOLATION AND RISK TO CTS OWNER'S / FAMILIES AS WELL AS ANYONE ON THE ROAD THATS NEAR A CTS WHEN DIFFERENTIAL GOES BAD WITH NO PRIOR WARNINGS. AT THIS POINT OWNERS HAVE BEEN WAITING YEARS FOR A SOLUTION THAT GM WILL NOT PROVIDE. WHICH IN MY EYES IS CRIMINAL AND KNOWING ABOUT HOW SEVERE THIS ISSUE IS AND DOING NOTHING TO SHOW THEY CARE FOR THEIR CONSUMERS. GM / CADILLAC SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED ON THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY WITH AN IMMEDIATE SOLUTION | LIVES ARE AT RISK. ALSO WHOMEVER DETERMINED THAT THE VEHICLE HAS A 5-STAR SAFETY LABEL. PEOPLE HAVE DIED DUE TO THIS DIFFERENTIAL GOING BAD AT HIGH SPEEDS. AND THE PROBLEM IS LISTED EVERYWHERE ONLINE BY ALL TIER LEVEL 2014-15 CTS OWNERS. NOT ONLY ARE OWNERS ROBBED THEIR LIFE IS PUT AT RISK OF DEATH PLUS THE LOSS OF TRANSPORTATION = LOSS OF JOB = DOWNWARD SPIRAL.

My moonroof spontaneously exploded almost causing me to have an accident with a 16 wheeler truck. NO external objects hit the moonroof.

It’s one problem but it’s a big problem and for the life of me it seems as if I can’t get through to someone. My headlights are so dim that I can’t drive at night it’s already know that this is a manufacturer problem I know its known that it is. Listen I’m a disabled veteran on a fixed income I need help with this problem can you help me?
